(NewsNation) — Former President Donald Trump has a busy Sunday schedule ahead of him, 16 days until Election Day — he’s scheduled for a work shift at McDonald’s.
Trump will be hosting a rally in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, attending the Jets-Steelers NFL game in Pittsburgh, and is set to work behind the counter at a McDonald’s in Lower Southampton Township, his campaign says.
But for Rep. Scott Perry, R-PA, this will “highlight he’s for the working class,” he said on NewsNation’s “Morning in America with Hena Doba” on Sunday.

But he’s so tired and confused according to special K.
Harris could use a happy meal. She always looks and sounds miserable.
Best he can hope for is a mickey D job? 😂👍
**...pushing away plates or stacking them up is crass behavior in fine dining establishments.**
If the fine dining joint picks up plates and bowls when making way for the main course, that’s fine with me. But my wife and I like to (quietly) organize the dinnerware. If it speeds up getting a table ready for the next customer(s), then that’s a plus.
Trump “Make America Healthy Again” a Fraud!
“Wanna give ‘em extra salt”
Imagine being the person chosen to teach the Best President how to fry.
That station must be the cleanest it’s ever been.
Trump would be better served working the fryer on the midnight shift at Waffle House while simultaneously holding a rally for the midnight brawlers and harvest their ballots before they go on their next drunken bender
Ha-ha!

That’s true.
I do the same thing. I’ve been in every aspect of the Food Service industry from bottom to the top.
I watched that live. Not only did he make fries, but he also passed bags of fries out the take-out window to several carloads of people, all of which seemed very friendly. They were not charged for the fries. He even handed some fries to members of the media.
Spot it’s a dig at lying Harris he did some work at McDonalds she never did.
+1 so true. The garbage tables left everything a sloppy mess that you couldn’t avoid getting on you as you bussed the table. At my restaurant, unfortunately, the waitstaff got all the tips, so we were left cleaning up the most disgusting mess ever.
The waitstaff did tell us that they got the biggest tips from the tables that required the least work.
I always organize the table before leaving a restaurant for that same reason.
Trump loves eating McDonald’s. He is the most vigorous 77-year-old I know. I don’t think his diet would work for me, however.
The definition of “fine dining establishments” is that they have sufficient waitstaff on hand that very soon after you finish your plate / soup / appetizer the waitstaff is there to whisk it away. For fine dining, that’s what people pay for. If you have time to stack plates for the waitstaff, it’s not fine dining, it’s red lobster.
That’s not to say that red lobster is / was bad, just that when you dine out there are various levels of service that are included in the meal price. If you’re paying $40 for the entree, the soup and salad should be policed before the entre arrives without having to stack the dishes and utensils. Would I still stack the dishes and utensils? Yes, because I’ve been waitstaff and want to make their lives a little easier. But no one realizes what it costs to have one waitstaff for 3 tables of 2-4 versus 3 waitstaff for 3 tables of 2-16. It’s not the same, and that “special” table of 16 probably isn’t going to tip.
I went to McDonald’s for the first time in years last week when I was on a road trip. Horrible experience as the mismanaged teenagers running the place were unable to get my order of a double cheeseburger and four piece chicken nuggets to me in the twenty minutes before I stormed out in frustration. Over eleven dollars that order, but I was done waiting.
