(NewsNation) — Former President Donald Trump has a busy Sunday schedule ahead of him, 16 days until Election Day — he’s scheduled for a work shift at McDonald’s.
Trump will be hosting a rally in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, attending the Jets-Steelers NFL game in Pittsburgh, and is set to work behind the counter at a McDonald’s in Lower Southampton Township, his campaign says.
But for Rep. Scott Perry, R-PA, this will “highlight he’s for the working class,” he said on NewsNation’s “Morning in America with Hena Doba” on Sunday.

Well I had to clean up some disgusting tables, and others were very clean with dishes stacked up. It seems the clean ones left a tip of a dollar, which was big back in the day.
Whenever I go to a sit down restaurant today, I make sure the dishes are in order for the busboy.
Flame away
You can always tell people who started out the hard way, busing and waiting tables by how they treat others. I don’t go out often but I always make sure I leave a generous tip
This was covered live a few moments ago on Newsmax. He may still be there.

I’ve worked in restaurants too. While I also like to stack my used plates when I’m done, I don’t hold it against anyone who doesn’t. The busser’s job is to buss, not the customer’s. It’s nice if they can help, but it’s not on them to do so.

I haven’t seen a busperson in a long time. Usually it is the waitstaff (formerly waiter or waitress) who takes the plates.
I didn’t bus tables but i did wash dishes, then food prep, then cook. When I was a dishwasher I always thanked the busperson when she (almost always a female) brought back the unfinished wine carafs still standing upright in the bus tray.
Apparently he is headed to the famous Trump store which is only a few blocks down the road, if SS will clear it
Pingy...
I agree, and in fact, pushing away plates or stacking them up is crass behavior in fine dining establishments.
I’ll trade ya my burned ones for your Brussels Sprouts...
Saw a pic of him at the fryer. Suit pants, shirt and tie, apron. Now only a couple more items to attend to today.
Same. I always tip in cash and generously. Been there, done that. It aint where you start out, its where you end up.

My wife and I usually eat at the bar. We stack our dishes so it is easier for the bar-back to take.
I haven’t seen a MickeyD’s in a long long time where there was any emphasis on time, and I know of what I speak, If I ran my stores back in the day the way MickeyD’s are run to day , slow speed of service, luke warm food sloppily made and lack of cleanliness I would not only not be the manager any more I would have been fired.
I really can’t even make myself go to one anymore, they have fallen that far since I left decades ago, I don’t blame the employees, they do as they are trained and supervised, the corporation has just fallen to shit.
But enough of the diatribe, I doubt anyone but a Harris supporter would give a damn about longer service times while Trump was there, they will only care that they saw or talked with Trump.
