The idea of relocating federal departments has been bandied about for some time. For example it is thought The Department of Agriculture would be better suited in Omaha, Nebraska, to be closer to agricultural interests. The Department of the Interior would be better suited out west in a place like Elko, Nevada to be closer to federal lands. With Trump considering bringing Elon Musk on board as an efficiency and cost-cutting expert many new ideas are appearing as to where Federal Departments should be relocated. Some are:
Loring, Maine
Montegut, Louisiana
International Falls, Minnesota
Ruthville, North Dakota (adjacent to Minot AFB)
Crow Agency, Montana
Atomic City, Idaho
Merriman and Valentine, Nebraska
Dugway, Utah
Yucca Flats, Nevada
Hanford, Washington
Dutch Harbor, Alaska

I still think Trump should open up Drilling Under The Heading of National Security interests. Put refineries on closed military bases and allow refining without Federal Regulations or interference. I was convinced he should have done this 4 years ago but after the last four I think it is imperative we would build our strategic Reserves and remove the government as consumers from our commercial oil industry

I have advocated creating a new “Unified Government Service” facility on either the island of Midway or Adak Alaska using abandoned military bases available on both locations. Take the relocation or quit.

Dept of Energy moved to Amarillo or Andrews, TX
Lol, all them ambedextrous, paycheck grabbing, liberal, marxist federal employees will be taking over your County government Red.
And, ATF will be knocking on your door at 6:00a.m. Maybe the shooting starts to CWII in your county. All the sin you need to committ is to use the wrong pronoun in front of the wrong person at you kids school.
Always liked this idea. I remember it getting introduced as a bill but obviously never went anywhere.
