I had a few very beautiful nuns in grade school at St. Martin of Tours in Philly. IHM. We did have one sister who was a terror, but most of them were fine. I do remember the angelic ancient sister who taught religion. She talked like she was already in Heaven.

I had lots of marginal health issues in mid-50’s. Lucky me decides to resign from a well paying secure job and begin exercising 5 times a week. My choice was golf because it is for me least boring exercise. That fixed every one of my health issues! I quit golf at age 75, but continued mild daily exercise, mostly walking. I am convinced that is the main reason I am still alive and in decent health.

The study didn’t seem to stratify respondents by age.The study didn’t indicate why the respondents we’re classified as depressed. Did not indicate how serious the depression was if respondent had depression. Did not seem to indicate if respondent was undergoing treatment.
Poor study design. Maybe sponsored by birth control pill makers, STD clinic owners, abortion centers, psychiatrists, ED treatment concerns, and purveyors of porn??? (anything to jack up business) ......just sayin’

I take at least a 30 minute brisk walk every day, sometimes 45 minutes, and I can tell you that I agree with your assessment of endorphins and oxytocin.
