46.40 seconds to beat nearest rival Kyle Chalmers by more than a second.

Ok wait a minute. Its "humanly possible" to swim it in 46.4, but not a single second faster?

Perhaps the Chinese guy is not eating McDonalds, not getting vaccines, and focused on training instead of social media?

Maybe the winner sprayed his body with the same coating our vegetables get that seals all pores, and reduces friction of the water against the swimmers’s skin ... ?

Until proven otherwise, The Chinese swimmer is the new record holder, fair and square. Show me the cheat, and I’ll adjust my attitude.

Considering all the drug tests he has endured, even before and after the race that have tested negative, I sincerely doubt he was doping.

The kid just swam his ass off. That's how records are broken and new ones set.......Congratulations to him.

Everything was humanly impossible until it wasn’t. They believed the 4 minute mile would kill someone trying to do it, all the way up until somebody did it and didn’t.

What’s extra funny is that 2 days ago people were whining that it was a “slow pool” because the times were so slow. So much for that.

Sh!t, I’m grateful I don’t sink.

Climbing Mt Everest and breaking the 4-minute mile were huge achievements in the 1950s. Now they are commonplace. People are made up the same as back then.

“Rarity: While over 4,000 people have climbed Everest, fewer than 200 have done so without supplemental oxygen. This underscores how difficult and uncommon the achievement is.”
