The parents of Donald Trump's would-be assassin have been consoled by a neighbor, who sent a message to them through the media, saying: "It was not your fault."
Thomas Matthew Crooks killed one audience member and injured two more after he opened fire at Trump's campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, on Saturday. The 20-year-old was shot and killed by a Secret Service sniper shortly after firing at the former president.

I think if you are a parent, you are going to blame yourself. 80% of parents anyway.
Yes, it kinda was to some degree. Kid lived at home. Dad is a “Psychologist”. Dad gave him the gun. Parents were Democrats—probably lots of “Trump is Hitler’ talk at home. Why haven’t the parents been interviewed and feet held to the fire???
Parents ARE Democrats.
Just about all psychologists are crazy, and they raise crazy kids. They should re-think their life choices. But it’s too late.
Maybe paying attention to his reported incessantly being bullied could have changed their son?
If I were close to the family then I might be able say if the parent should blame themselves or not. 8 times out of 10 they didn’t bring the kid up right. But there are bad apples that go bad no matter what. An uncle said that the killers family were recluse and never interacted with him or other family so it sounds like maybe something was wrong with the parents to me. But without more information the one could not be sure.
We don’t really know what happened. Often it is the parents, but sometimes kids seem to turn out bad no matter how good the parents are, right?
“Just about all psychologists are crazy, and they raise crazy kids. They should re-think their life choices.”
Most that go into psychology do so because they themselves need a shrink.
I find it strangely ironic that they are both “behavioral counselors.”
Kind of like a mechanic’s car?
LOL. You nailed it. Great analogy!
I wonder about the following:
- Did doctors prescribe drugs to TMC like ritilin or zantex?
- Is there an update on the condition of the two people injured?
I don’t see much on any of that?
“But there are bad apples that go bad no matter what.”
The parents are Democrats. In their mind is the kid a bad apple?
Newsweek?
I don’t blame them.
You do your best as a parent but sometimes the kid just goes South and there is not a darn thing a parent can do about it.
They ARE to blame then!
And he had daddy’s AR-15. Daddy had to know his little boy libtard was off a few marbles.
Wasn’t the rifle purchased by Crooks’ father?

Nailed it. I’ve been reading that dear old dad had this rifle for crazy son to use.
Not necessarily FAS.
In the Blackrock commercial, the teacher taught advanced classes. The shooter was in his class.
FAS children are typically on the lower end of the learning scale.
Incessant bullying, which has been reported, can mess someone up, particularly when there is no anchoring outlet in the home.
