I think if you are a parent, you are going to blame yourself. 80% of parents anyway.
Yes, it kinda was to some degree. Kid lived at home. Dad is a “Psychologist”. Dad gave him the gun. Parents were Democrats—probably lots of “Trump is Hitler’ talk at home. Why haven’t the parents been interviewed and feet held to the fire???
Just about all psychologists are crazy, and they raise crazy kids. They should re-think their life choices. But it’s too late.
If I were close to the family then I might be able say if the parent should blame themselves or not. 8 times out of 10 they didn’t bring the kid up right. But there are bad apples that go bad no matter what. An uncle said that the killers family were recluse and never interacted with him or other family so it sounds like maybe something was wrong with the parents to me. But without more information the one could not be sure.
I find it strangely ironic that they are both “behavioral counselors.”
Kind of like a mechanic’s car?
I wonder about the following:
- Did doctors prescribe drugs to TMC like ritilin or zantex?
- Is there an update on the condition of the two people injured?
I don’t see much on any of that?
Newsweek?
I don’t blame them.
You do your best as a parent but sometimes the kid just goes South and there is not a darn thing a parent can do about it.
They ARE to blame then!
And he had daddy’s AR-15. Daddy had to know his little boy libtard was off a few marbles.
I trust his parents never saw this video. Otherwise they would have had him committed. (language)

There is an age old question of nature vs nurture and the shooter is a product of all sorts of darkness.
I am all for people to do soul searching, but yeah, we don’t need articles about it.
Blame hell! They’re democrats, they are probably basking in the glory.
Both parents are mental health professionals. That indicates that they probably have warped views of existence and raised their son with esoteric theories that would make producing a balanced adult unlikely.
It was ASU crap.
Daddy bought the gun 11 years ago.
The “kid” was in college.
