Horrifying images show 'destroyed cancer ward' after Putin's thugs attack hospital

The dramatic pictures showed blood-covered mothers cradling their terrified children as they tried to escape the hospital after the strike.

Horrifying pictures have captured the aftermath of a devastating Russian missile strike on a children's hospital in Kyiv that caused widespread damage and killed at least two people.

Vladimir Putin's army launched a massive assault on Ukraine, targeting five Ukrainian cities with more than 40 missiles - at least 33 people have been killed and more than 150 injured across the country.

The onslaught hit apartment buildings and public infrastructure, including the newly reconstructed ward at Kyiv's Okhmatdyt Hospital.

Windows and doors were blown out and walls blackened in the 10-storey building, with blood splattered on the floor in one room.

The intensive care unit, operating theatres and oncology departments all were damaged, officials said.

Shocking images of the aftermath of the bombing have now emerged, including one of an injured mother covered in dust and debris making her way through a corridor carrying her stunned toddler.

The tot, who appears to be wearing a cannula into his nose, is seen also covered in dust, his skin smeared with blood as his mother covers him with a striped sheet.

Another image shows a mother sitting outside the bombed hospital cradling her young daughter. The little girl is seen hiding her face in the woman's chest, her tiny hand seemingly trying to shield her eyes.

Young cancer patients evacuated from the destroyed ward were pictured lined up against an external wall of the building as they continued to receive treatment away from the strike area.

Doctors and members of the public joined in rescue operations, forming a chain to quickly remove debris in an attempt to free hospital staff and patients caught up in the missile strike.

Putin is losing. His summer offensive is a flop and President Trump isn’t going to stand for Putin’s nonsense.

Sounds like Zelensky is losing support. He just needs to start claiming that Putin is bombing Ukrainian Pride parades.

You are mistaking me with someone that gives a damn about one or the other globalist governments, or three, that started it.

They don’t give a damn about their own people as much as our government doesn’t give a damn about us.

I have no pony in this farce, just sorrow.

Problem is, it wasn’t the Russians. It was a Ukranian missile.

That’s where I’m at. I have no interest in seeing more people die. I also have no interest in giving our money away. I despise the globalists who are clearly backing Ukraine, and I won’t bleed for that. There’s enough problems in my own AOR.

Apparently you have no clue who John Mearsheimer is. He's the one speaking. You just refuse to accept what he says

I think you are brainwashed, because you believe that which is not true. Furthermore, you buy into what Biden and this administration of criminals, whose goal is to destroy this nation, are selling you. This could have been avoided by just refusing to keep expanding NATO to Russia's border.

Perhaps when those millions of military aged men that Joe Biden has allowed in begin doing what they came here for, you might then begin to understand Putin's rightful concern about NATO's expansion, especially in light of the hostilities that our leaders have expressed concerning not only Russia, but also Putin personally.

None so blind as those who will not see.

Take a look at who the person speaking is.

I actually have great concern for Ukraine, which is why I have supported a peaceful resolution all along. Ukraine would still have complete control of all of their land, including the Crimea, had they rejected the overtures from the west to join NATO. They paid a heavy price & so will we by pushing Putin & Russia into China's arms instead of normalizing relations with them, just as we did with Germany, Japan, & Italy after the USSR imploded. NATO could have become an even stronger coalition, had we taken in Russia, to fight the radical nations of NK, China & Iran. What a stupid move by our stupid leaders & the neocons who think of using the military instead of diplomacy.

That could have been an easy accomplishment, by backing off of the NATO expansion into Ukraine.

In 2004 Putin stated quite clearly that Russia & Putin deemed that they would consider NATO expansion into either Georgia or Ukraine would be red lines that they would not tolerate.

So, 4 years later they tried to get Georgia to revolt against Russia, which they did, and Putin went in and put down the rebellion.

Instead of respecting Russia's legitimate concern for their national security, they then turned their efforts to bring Ukraine into NATO.

Our intentions regarding Ukraine were to make it a vassal state of the US. In the process we knew this would guarantee that Russia would react as they finally did. First the coup d'état of the duly elected President of Ukraine, Viktor Yanukovych, which prodded Putin to retake the Crimea. Then Putin still worked to come to a peaceful resolution with the two Minsk Accords.

Instead, they ignored the Minsk Accords knowing full well, that in time that would provoke Putin to eventually take military action.

Which he finally did, but it wasn't a full onslaught of Ukraine, like the US has unleashed upon Iraq, which is what all of the analysts expected.

Within a few weeks of the incursion, Putin & Zelenskyy sat down and had agreed to Russia returning all land that they controlled, except for Crimea that Russia deemed a national security issue., and would totally withdraw their military forces,. All Ukraine was required to do was remain neutral and not join NATO. Then along came Boris Johnson & convinced Zelenskyy to not sign that peace agreement because he couldn't trust what Putin promised. He promised that NATO would back him.

Now they had what they wanted, a proxy war with the battleground being Ukraine, and the fighters the Ukrainian citizens.

I think you hate Ukraine, not me chump. Because like a chump you have bought into all of the propaganda, including the biggest lie, that being that Russia invaded Ukraine and that is was unprovoked.

Try listening to what John Mearsheimer has to say. If you are unaware of who John Mearsheimer is:

Please. Just stop with the “haters of Ukraine” drama queen nonsense.

Caring about how our tax dollars are appropriated does it make one a “hater of Ukraine.”

Remember, the majority of FReepers are not Ukrainian or Russian and do not have the emotional attachment you guys do. We just don’t like seeing the diapered guy sending billions of unaudited dollars to a known money laundering organization upon demand.

Every child killed by any anti-missile missile or ADA whether in Belgorod, Russia or in Ukraine, is the fault of the Russian invasion. Putin sending armored columns against peaceful countries like the Republic of Georgia and Ukraine is truly barbaric.

Putin targets civilians and has since 2014.

“...None so blind as those who will not see...”

That describes Robert DeLong perfectly. You’ve been the KGB boy’s boy since the invasion, and you love to arrogantly tell Ukrainians about their own country.

You support the aggression, the hammer and sickle flags, the newly dedicated Stalin monuments, and the death-to-Ukraine Duma. And that same Duma is also a death-to-America collection of corruption and evil. You communist supporting zip wads cited over and over again Russia’s flat tax. Now that is gone and we’re looking at a true return to Soviet times with giant state-owned corporations, long prison terms for stating opinions, the gulag archipelago, and people attempting to flee all eleven time zones of Putin’s Russia.
