The Great Awakening ('Freedom of Thought’), was designed and created not only as a backchannel to the public (away from the longstanding ‘mind’ control of the corrupt & heavily biased media) to endure future events through transparency and regeneration of individual thought (breaking the chains of ‘group-think’), but, more importantly, aid in the construction of a vehicle (a ‘ship’) that provides the scattered (‘free thinkers’) with a ‘starter’ new social-networking platform which allows for freedom of thought, expression, and patriotism or national pride (the feeling of love, devotion and sense of attachment to a homeland and alliance with other citizens who share the same sentiment).
When ‘non-dogmatic’ information becomes FREE & TRANSPARENT it becomes a threat to those who attempt to control the narrative and/or the stable.
When you are awake, you stand on the outside of the stable (‘group-think’ collective), and have ‘free thought’.
"Free thought" is a philosophical viewpoint which holds that positions regarding truth should be formed on the basis of logic, reason, and empiricism, rather than authority, tradition, revelation, or dogma.
When you are awake, you are able to clearly see.
The choice is yours, and yours alone.
Trust and put faith in yourself.
You are not alone and you are not in the minority.

Funny you mention carb kits. Back in the 90’s while building a truck I got to noticing that it was getting way cheaper to replace master cylinders, slave brake cylinders carbs, and more. Seems the Mexicans were doing a good job at the time. On the off-chance something might get hard-to-get I started ratholing components: gasket material, spring stock, non-ferrous sheet et. al. My shop is built/equipped to make almost anything up to the size of a truck so I pretty much just dare them to get even stoopider.
Recall that one of the greatest errors the Japanese suffered at the opening of the pacific theater of combat was to call off follow up strikes at Hawaii which would have struck the petroleum storage facilities there. Among other things it would have hampered our deployment/entry by probably a half year or more.

There are many people who believe that the US leaked information about the purported weakness of Pearl Harbor to the Japanese and WANTED them to attack. The reasons given are that US citizens weren’t very supportive of entering a new war. People who survived WWI had children by that time and the memory was still too fresh to contemplate sending THEIR children to war. The US needed an event that would invoke that support. If that’s all true and a strike on the homeland would gin up support for entering the war, delaying their entry by destroying the petroleum facilities would have accomplished the opposite, as you correctly pointed out.
I should have added that if the US “arranged” the attack so they could enter a heretofore unpopular war, they may have made certain to adequately protect the petroleum storage facilities. A WWII history buff may know how quickly defenses were raised to protect the area after the attack.

Vit-D is the key here. The problem is two-fold.
1. We have an extreme amount of things in our daily lives that block UV - sunglasses, UV blocking windows in our homes, car screens, sun screens, etc. We’re told the sun is poison, when it’s how we get Vit-D through our skin because our eyes receiving UV tell the body to make it. Further, we usually wash off the cholesterol on our skin where the Vit-D magic happens with daily bathing using harsh soaps.
2. Massive inflammation. When the body is consumed with inflammation, it is difficult to make Vit-D.
My advice from someone who has not been sick at all for many years is:
1. Get in the sun and make sure your torso gets it.
2. Stop wearing shades unless necessary.
3. Never ever wear toxic sunscreen. There are natural alternatives for those with sensitive skin.
4. Do not wash your torso with soap for at least 48 hours after sunning. If you MUST bathe daily, just get the pits and bits (where the sun don’t shine) with soap and rinse the rest.
5. If you are above 35 degrees latitude or wintertime for those above about 30 degrees latitude, eat copious amounts of food that provide Vit-D or find a good supplement. I like ones whose base is coconut oil.
6. Tackle internal inflammation through supplementation. I suggest flush niacin.
7. Ground yourself and avoid static buildup within your body. Walk on the ground barefoot. Never wear polyester. Linen is by far the best garment fabric, but organic cotton is darn good, too.
8. Bonus! Plastic combs and brushes are contributors to static buildup and are attributed to hair loss. There are some very good boar hair, wooden, and bamboo products for your hair.
9. Bonus 2! Get some shungite in your life to protect against harmful EMF. There’s some nice jewelry and disc thingies for your phone.

They didn't really handle Midway very well either; too dependent on 'the power of the emperor'❓ Still, they clobbered Pearl Harbor! Admiral Whoosit told them that we were a powerful manufacturing nation... would bounce back with power. They wanted to score ships more than petroleum I guess. Also didn't get our carriers at Pearl - and didn't insure the sinking of the Lexington {?} at Coral Sea.

Between the two of us I expect we could handle Trump’s simplification of gummint program? If you’re not already writing those kinds of suggestions to Trump you should be. For my own part I keep it simple. Whenever I send a check I include a suggestion. Keep it simple, easy to sort/compile/categorize. One liners where possible. I’ve been at it since 015 and those little nudges seem to get worked in or at least coincidentalled?
Right on schedule, Newsmax is warning about “Bird Flu pandemic right around the corner, which may be 100 times worse than CV-19.”
Those nasty viruses get fired up just thinking about DJT running for President.
