What has so often struck me, and irked me, about the embrace of “diversity” dogma is how profoundly unintellectual it is. A wiseguy might say it’s really a simple IQ test, though a wise guy understands it’s a soul and sagacity test. To wit:

“Diversity” started in corporate quality circles and it meant including a diverse cross section of stakeholders in any team or decision. It was fabulously successful. Then HR got ahold of it and their interpretation was it meant include black people.
If diversity truly were strength, the Austro-Hungarian Empire would have won the First World War.
The word “stakeholders” is one of my pet peeves—because most folks who use it have never used a mallet to pound a stake in the ground.

Um.... An educated citizenry is its strength.
Diversity has never been a strength. It’s something to manage but still get the best performance possible.
A common culture is a strength. Differing cultures is a weakness in the system/group/company/etc.
I’ve always thought the “Diversity is Our Strength” slogan originated with people whose goal it is to weaken the USA, and partially to justify open borders and the large number of Dim voters that usually result.
The truth: Shared values and common goals are our strength.
diversity: when you hire someone with an I.Q. of 70 to work with someone with an I.Q. of 140 and expect that dumb people working with smart people will somehow bring a low.I.Q. up to a high I.Q. yeah....diversity.
If it was, Austria-Hungary would have won WWI.

And then the open borders, anti-MAGA crowd used it to fuel its agenda.
At the same time it worked to convince high-school and college students that immigrants couldn't be illegals.
Then with a snap of its fingers it changed red states to blue states.
Maybe at first, but it quickly morphed into "include anyone EXCEPT white people."

It’s not just stupid, it’s deleterious to society.
When the Roman Empire could no longer demand conformity, and the Barbarians held onto their own culture, the empire collapsed.
