I was securing a high end fashion store for a night and they had Converse style running shoes, that were no better quality than what we buy, and it as $1000.

“Conspicuous consumption” is a real thing, I suppose. How insecure do you have to be to spend $3300 smackers on something like that. Nothing says insecure jerk like 33-hundred dollar sandwich bag.

LVMH employs close to 200,000 and has annual revenues in the region of $90 billion.
