I need help

I’m in the ER with my sister who is on home dialysis and 24/7 oxygen.

They said she tested positive for Covid and are giving her remdisivir. I have no rights to stop them and I need info for her husband so I can convince him to make them stop giving it to her

What is a good website I can direct him to

Everything he’s finding is positive so he doesn’t know how bad it is

Mr G went into the hospital last Friday with covid. I told the Dr NO remdesivir. He made notes on his chart and said it is one of those things that *might* help, or might not, so with my objection he wouldn’t get it. He didn’t seem to care much. Lots of people running around him without masks too...... until the nazi charge nurse on the covid floor, who required the full get up. (I ignored her)

Good. After 6 hours getting him settled in, I went home and settled in to my own case of covid. Then 7 inches of snow. Tomorrow we get the ice. It’s been a fun week.

BTW we are both home and on the upswing now.

• I'm sorry I wasn't here when you posted. You probably have the info you need a this point, but I'll put them below anyway in case you want more. I'll put links for each article below the title on FR. I'll also plan to link Remdesivir info to the FReeQ FAQ at the start of each thread.

I'm late with this but can your sister just say no?....she's her own advocate unless she is completely out of it...

I'm so sorry for her and you and all the family....been thru this but I lived 2500 miles away and could not stop this.....
