Biden rips media for economy coverage: ‘Start reporting it the right way’ (Bidenomics “All good.")

resident Biden criticized news coverage of the U.S. economy as he faces growing backlash from voters over his handling of inflation.

In brief remarks Saturday before boarding the presidential helicopter, Biden expressed confidence in the economy and ripped the reporters for the way it has been portrayed.

“All good. Take a look. Start reporting it the right way,” Biden said when asked about his economic outlook for 2024, according to a transcript released Sunday by the White House.

Biden’s criticism is the latest flash of frustration from the president over how Americans view the U.S. economy.

The economy has roared back from the COVID-19 recession under Biden, who enacted legislation for trillions of dollars of economic relief and investments shortly after taking office in 2021.

The U.S. unemployment rate was just 3.7 percent in November - barely above the pre-pandemic level of 3.5 percent, which was a five-decade low. Annual inflation has also fallen sharply from a peak of 9.1 percent in June 2022 to 3.1 percent in November, and the economy has defied widespread predictions of a recession.

Even so, Biden’s standing with voters has fallen throughout the year as they’ve become increasingly frustrated with the economy under his leadership.

Biden’s approval rating fell to a record low of 34 percent in a Monmouth University poll released last week, with nearly 70 percent of respondents disapproving of his handling of inflation.

**SNIP**

Biden and his Democratic allies have largely blamed the media and Republican critics for skewing the public’s views on the economy by exaggerating recession fears and dismissing record-setting job growth.

After the monthly jobs report for September far exceeded economists’ expectations, Biden ripped reporters - ”not the happiest people in the world,” he said - for hyperfixating on inflation and recession speculation.

Brandon thinks better with a full diaper. Still no mention on how the chicom bribes influenced the economy. Must be pretty bad when even the leftist Big Media can't go along with the scam. The term 'Bidenomics' will now be verboten in 2024. I'll be using it as many times as possible.

All his privileged life he has demanded praise.. He’s worthy.. His touchy hands with girls.. He thinks his touch is appreciated.

He lives in a fantasy magic world. He’s been weird for a long time.

Don’t worry Brandon, the media will all fall back in line and only report the economy “the right way” in the months leading up to the 2024 election.

China is currently dumping a ton of money into the US economy. Why? They want Biden back in so they can take Taiwan. Removing the economic issue from the table helps Biden.

Expect 2024 to be a very good year for the US economy. Again, China. They think strategically. Compare and contrast: Biden cannot think. He does not even know what planet he’s on.

Now if Biden gets re-elected, China will pull the rug out from under us. Mission accomplished. 2025 will be something that makes the Great Depression look like a hiccup.

That said Biden (or rather his handlers) have screwed things up so much even about US$2.4 trillion of Chinese money may not be enough to prop our economy up.

Also China has its own problems. And then there are the Southern border and crime issues.

I give it five or ten years before Democrats have the ability to imprison or kill any noncompliant news media representatives.

Eggs keep bouncing around, up down, up down every time some producer somewhere has to slaughter huge flocks over bird flu concerns.

Bacon? Now there’s the rub...what used to $4 something a lb for Smithfield at wallyworld is up to $7. One of my favorites is $8+ up from $5 just last year. [all $$’s approximate.]
Can’t afford that anymore.

Everything in a grocery store has much higher prices. My understanding is that food is not in the cpi figures. So FJB can STFU.

Maybe Joe thinks people won’t notice price increases or will forget about the much lower prices and interest rates during the Trump presidency.

WIKI

In 2016, Mackey promoted internet memes falsely claiming that it was possible to vote for Hillary Clinton through text messages; the memes were targeted at Black and Latino voters, and were designed to look like official Clinton campaign ads, reusing her campaign logo, slogans, and fine print. One of the memes said “Avoid the Line. Vote from Home.” At least 4,900 people tried to vote by texting the number shown in the memes.

Mackey was arrested in January 2021 for attempted voter suppression, alongside several co-conspirators. The New York Times identified one of them as alt-right influencer Anthime Gionet, known online as Baked Alaska. Mackey was found guilty of conspiracy against rights by a federal jury in March 2023, facing up to 10 years in jail. In his trial, Mackey said that he had changed since 2016, and had started therapy in 2018. In October, he was sentenced to 7 months in jail.

“noncompliant news media representatives”

Those who spread ‘misinformation’ will find their paychecks to be smaller, if they are still on the payroll.

The forced funding of media organizations under Australian and other legislation means leftist governments have power to control the media.

Show ads with pictures of Watts circa 1990 and 2023.

Black voters will understand ‘replacement theory’.

I remember eating at a fast food restaurant in the DC area around 1980.

“can’t afford to feed their families”

I have soup on the stove - water, macaroni, and the contents of large cans of green beans and crushed tomatoes.
