The Arvada Police Department is searching for pantless burglar who caused thousands of dollars in damage to the George J. Meyers Swimming Center.

ARVADA, Colo. — The Arvada Police Department is searching for pantless burglar who caused thousands of dollars in damage to the George J. Meyers Swimming Center.
A lifeguard arriving to work noticed the break-in and reported it around 4:58 a.m. Thursday.
Police said the suspect broke three windows and damaged some items inside the building. The cost of the damage was estimated to be $4,000 to $5,000.
Surveillance video shows the man throwing a speaker through a glass door.
Police said the man had pants on when he broke into the center, but lost them at some point. He was last seen wearing a gray long-sleeve shirt and leopard print underwear.
The suspect has a tattoo on his right forearm.
Anyone with information about the burglar is asked to call Arvada police at 720-898-6900.
City staff was able to open the swim center by 4 p.m. Friday.
Just a weird/funny story.

So, they now know they are looking for a man with a tattoo on his arm. Wonder how many tens of thousands have a tattoo on their arm? No other details except for his undies.

When a teenager we would crash motel swimming pools until we were chased away. Dip and dash.
Hope Colorado has better laws than those in California - IF the burglar were caught - there must be video cameras around, they’re everywhere now - he would be processed and sent back out on the street immediately b/c “no cash bail.”
Later, criminal-loving, DA George Gascon would drop all charges.

We left Colorado altogether. Just getting away from Denver wasn’t enough.
If an upcoming CO proposition passes the voters, it will give the state a budget that grows 1% every year on top of an increase based on inflation and another increase based on population growth. It seems the State apparatus wants to dominate the counties with the power of the purse.
They push it as if it will lower property taxes and better fund the schools, but it's wording is California state election style deception, IMHO. I moved here because the people and the government looked out for each other. No more ... too much population has paradoxically led to detachment from, and too little concern for, ones neighbors and the community.
