The blue moon was BRIGHT last night - and this morning also!
I observed it with the binoculars, but didn’t bother training the telescope on it today.
Something else that’s bright - and was just rising a little while ago - Venus. Binoculars only on that space object too, since I had to trudge out under the power lines to see low enough in the eastern sky. The sun will be up soon here in eastern TN.

Good advice. I intend to be very respectful of this forum. I have developed a deep appreciation for Bagster. It took me a while to understand him, but his death is what caused me to dip my toe in the water here. He was respected by me and I enjoyed his wit and knowledge.
