I assume Q would best make a move, in that event... of Trump to be jailed.. I think that was what you were saying.
Although Q is not “We The People”, it is true that should conditions shift to the dark side in such an appearance of manifest victory, punctuated by jailing Trump, it would be a marker like no other, promising to incite epic futility and an instantaneous screaming vision of MIL impotency, total mil defeat of “the only way”, having lost the way, on the way.
The beard pulling among men would probably freeze in place, weary of the various D chess game.

Shake or shingle roofs are an absolute fire hazard. If that was the standard roofing due to Homeowners Association requirements you could say H. A. or city or village's snobish vanity was one of the reasons it spread so fast. The Town to the south of me had a shake roof requirement but finally got rid of it about 5 years ago.

As I recall that particular stink was less about the tile and more about the blue color. Conventional tile roofs are quite standard in HI, especially with the oriental folks. By the time the 70’s were over shake roofs had fallen out of style for a number of reasons.

close buildings got to be a uge problem on all the islands. If you notice in some of the aerial shots of the burn areas the ash piles pretty much touch each other.
The original lot sizes kept things spread out reasonably well but over the last half dozen decades there has been a lot of “infilling.” One of the things I got called on to do, as an old surveyor, when there was a property sale, was to stake the correct property lines. Lots of families, etc. didn’t mind sticking a new house right between two old ones-—for the kids, doncha know. So, yeah, there is a lot of buttsup, way too close, non-standard, non-code, housing.
