I believe he said that he didn’t know what he would do if he did not get the nomination.
So he won’t automatically commit to supporting the dem. party nominee. He didn’t say he would NOT support the nominee either.

A reputable reference like the Brittanica would never do that. If a subject had controversial opinons, they would state those opinions matter-of-fact and let the reader decide for themselves. Then again, they have scholars writing their articles, not people with a political agenda or axe to grind.
I do remember 'Eschoir' from the old days, not aware he would maliciousy edit Free Republic's Wikipedia entry - but not surprised at that either.
