Democratic presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. on Wednesday refused to pledge his support to whoever becomes the Democratic nominee in the event he fails to secure the nomination.

Asked by Elizabeth Vargas in a town hall hosted by NewsNation whether he will “pledge to support whoever the Democratic nominee is,” Kennedy responded, “Oh, of course I’m not gonna do that.”

I believe he said that he didn’t know what he would do if he did not get the nomination.
So he won’t automatically commit to supporting the dem. party nominee. He didn’t say he would NOT support the nominee either.
Maybe the cracks in the Clinton/Obama/Biden/neoMarxist dem. party cabal are finally spreading

I’ve never understood the whole pledge thing.

Only Party leaders want the pledge.

On the whole, the article is straightforward, but if you read carefully, it's dripping with contempt and bias. For example, much further down the article is a section entitled "Vaccines cause autism" trope

A reputable reference like the Brittanica would never do that. If a subject had controversial opinons, they would state those opinions matter-of-fact and let the reader decide for themselves. Then again, they have scholars writing their articles, not people with a political agenda or axe to grind.

I do remember 'Eschoir' from the old days, not aware he would maliciousy edit Free Republic's Wikipedia entry - but not surprised at that either.

“I wish that we could all differ with each other without hating each other and without being venomous and poisonous toward each other,” he said.

“… so the first thing I would do if elected is begin gun confiscation so that people who disagree with me will be disarmed and completely at the mercy of me, my rogue government, and our Brownshirt BLM/Antifa shock troops.”
