Fans of Tucker Carlson's now canceled Fox News show are comparing the beleaguered network to Bud Light and threatening to boycott it altogether in the wake of Carlson's firing.
Carlson was blindsided by his firing from Fox News and learned of it on Monday morning shortly before it was announced, sources tell DailyMail.com.
Now, some of Carlson's fans, guests and conservatives in general are trashing the network's decision.
Frequent guest Michael Tracey wrote: 'Fox News has eliminated the only reason why anyone under 40 pays any attention to Fox News.'
Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia went further.
'Cable news is about to be taught a powerful lesson after Fox News caved to the woke mob and fired Tucker Carlson,' she tweeted. 'Americans no longer blindly watch the news like they did decades ago, they only watch the ones who have courage to tell the truth. Americans are about to quit watching.'
Venture Capitalist David Sacks compared Fox to Bud Light for their promotion with Dylan Mulvaney, a move that enraged conservatives.
'Tonight I’ll be watching Fox News drinking Bud Light. Not,' he tweeted, presumably sarcastically.
One another account joked about another Mulvaney promotion.
'By losing Tucker, Fox News is now the Bud Light of Nike Sports Bras,' they wrote, citing Dylan Mulvaney's partnership with the athletics wear brand.
Even some of Carlson's closest staff were unaware that his show had been axed, reading about it for the first time on Twitter.

Tucker Carlson and Gutfeld occasionally were the only things I watched on Fox after they showed their hand on election night 2020.
I have utterly no reason to ever go back now.
I bet morons like Paul Ryan think they’ve “won” now and they’ll just replace Tucker and roll right along. Tucker was about the ONLY thing bringing in anybody under 60. Fox just blew their own brains out and they don’t even realize it....yet.
I stopped watching Fox a couple of years ago. They’ve joined the mainstream.
I haven’t watched Fox since Bret Baier called Arizona for Biden. What did I miss?
“And we lose another ally.”
He’s not lost, he’s re-locating. We just don’t know where yet.
Okay Surrender Monkeys come out and bleat that “Conservatives don’t stick to boycotts so this one will fail.”
How’d THAT work out against Bud Light?
Faux News is only supported by patriotic people that THINK it is patriotic to have it on all day long.
Those that actually care about America can’t stand to watch slugs like the Little Leprechaun Juan Moron Geraldo the Che impersonator and that gasbag kilmeade.
The end of Fox will come much quicker than many think.
I left Faux after the 2020 debacle. I came back for one reason only, Tucker.
Really enjoy Newsmax.
They sell advertizing based on ratings.
When Ailes ran Fox it was an ally. Now it is another establishment mouth piece. Tucker gave Fox the last bit of cred they had.
Cancelled my Fox Nation subscription yesterday. Tucker was the only reason I had it in the first place.

I haven’t had cable TV in at least 4 years. I only watched Tucker and that was the segments that were posted on YouTube.
Instead of Fox News, I would highly recommend an outstaniding alternative: “Real America’s Voice,” (”RAV”) online at https://americasvoice.news/ (I keep “RAV” in a open tab on my browser even when I’m not watching it, so that I can easily switch to it.)
From their website, they are available on: Dish 219, Samsung TV Plus 1029, Pluto TV 240, ROKU, Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, Select TV 106. The “Real America’s Voice” app is available for streaming on your “smart TV” or through one of the above streaming devices.
I highly recommend “The War Room” hosted by Steve Bannon. It’s on from 10-12 am Mon.-Sat. and 5-6 pm. (The schedule varies slightly on Saturday and Sunday and I think some are re-broadcasts.)
There are also video clips on the “Real America’s Voice” site from various programs.
And then, there is always “The War Room” website https://warroom.org/ for reviewing show highlights of guests and important news and information.
I watched him on YouTube also. But now we can’t even do that!
I’ve had YouTube on my boycott list for some time as well as Fox. I was watching Tucker on Bitchute and use Rumble for some podcasts that I find interesting. People need to stop using companies that hate us.
I’m still boycotting Nestle from over a decade ago. I don’t recall what it was about now, but it became a habit. lol
Maybe they’ll get an influx and we’ll get relief from the insurance commercial where “John” has been unable to obtain coverage for himself and his wife, and the Medicare part C commercial where “Alan’s” wife stridently works him over for not getting coverage
excellent point about bitchute and rumble
youtube is no better than the old twitter
Bill O’Reilly was just interviewed by WOR radio. Said he expects some new membership but was amazed he got 500 since yesyerday.
FNC has a couple of good on-air people left specifically, Mark Levin and Steve Hilton. I’m curious to see what will happen to them. FBC is much better over all however, given that it is also owned by the Murdochs, I’m not sure if their on-air people will be as willing to speak out and question.
Fox earned this. Let’s see how their ratings hold up.
You get it which is good 🤣🤣
Some folks just don’t get it, like boycotting Bud Light and switching to Bud.
