Indeed. As one of my favorite historians, Paul Johnson (Bloodline! Bloodline! Bloodline!) might say "adumbration." I think it may have been his favorite word.
I don't think that was the case - the symbolism of the military behind our CIC at the 2017 inauguration was solely to highlight the words he spoke - the entire inaugural speech being exactly 17 minutes.
Even at that moment, the Deep State was doomed, and they (remaining) knew/know it.
