The Wire star Lance Reddick has died aged 60 - just one day after posting a photo of himself on Instagram relaxing at home with his dogs.
Reddick - who is also known for his role in the John Wick franchise - is understood to have died from natural causes, law enforcement officials told TMZ.
His body was reportedly discovered in his home in Studio City, California at 9.30am on Friday morning.
He was in the middle of a promotional tour for John Wick: Chapter 4 and was scheduled to appear on The Kelly Clarkson show next week.
Just yesterday he uploaded a photo of himself curled up with his dogs at home in a promotional Instagram post for Hard Rock Hotel.
DailyMail.com has reached out to the actor's representatives for comment.

I do not depend on luck. Drag my butt to gym 4 times every week. At age 82 exercise is the best medicine to stay healthy. I need no prescriptions, no aches or pains. In my mid-50’s I had frequent chest pains, hip joint pain, panic attacks in closed malls, rapid heart beats in morning, and high blood pressure. All those disappeared when I joined a golf club and began walking 5 rounds of 18 every week.
Anyone who sings ‘The beat goes on’ probably needs a dirt nap.
That sucks. He played pretty cool characters.
If you don't mind me saying, I'd say you're ready to play the piano for relaxation. I recommend learning the Zelenskyy method. It's very entertaining.
As comedian Steven Wright says, everybody dies suddenly. "You're alive...you're alive...you're alive...you're dead."
Is it streaming? Cable?
He was great on Fringe and Olivia was so fine
“Was great in the ‘Bosch’ series”
I saw every single “season” on Amazon. Bosch had the bare minimum of leftist jive and political correctness.
For Lance Reddick, I blame the vaxxxxxxx until proven otherwise. Mitch McConnell taking a tumble. Vaxxx related too, in my book. Many have gotten vertigo after getting vaxxxed.
Great actor, very sad news. RIP
Or the cocaine that he did that caused the heart attack.
No, there is no evidence of that either.
There are a lot of things we don’t know, and have no business knowing.

The Wire and Wick are enjoyable.
No man ever looked so good in a suit.
I told my wife that if I come back as a black man, I want to look like that.
First time I saw him it was when he appeared on Lost. His scene with Hurley was *chilling*.
“”Watch The Wire.
Right now!””
ABSOLUTELY!!!
We bought the original DVD sets as each year was done. There are too many favorite things in the series.
Just this. Enjoy Omar, he is one of a kind. Also, the depiction of the Baltimore Sun newspaper is ‘spot on.’
HBO Max
He played in an episode of Young Sheldon - an engineering instructor. His character was not impressed nor intimidated with Sheldon’s intellect. Sheldon turned in the semester assignment the next day, and without even looking at it, Lance Riddick throws it in the trash.
