I've been posting a series of J6 videos over the past few years that show abnormal incursions into the Capitol that were atypical of MAGA followers of President Trump. One of them was of a group of long-haired youths wearing gas masks who entered a room through a broken window, and were being given orders through the window by a woman with a bullhorn.
See that video here at this link.
While searching through my posting history to locate this video, I came across prior posts where the HTML appears to have been altered, removing the actual link to the video and replacing it with a dummy stub. Here is the most recent post from July 1, 2022, with this altered HTML:
https://freerepublic.com/focus/bloggers/4075468/posts?page=44#44
Note that the actual HTML in the link says this: https://freerepublic.com/focus/bloggers/4075468/yelling
Now, here is the same text from a post from January 5, 2022, with the same link. On that post, the link is preserved:
https://www.yout-ube.com/watch?v=VHLv3ZvBrkQ
Can Free Republic Admins and techs explain how a "yelling" text can be appended to a legitimate YouTube link and be altered months later to divert a real link into a fake one?
WTH is "yelling?"
This wasn't rejected as a bad link, it was redirected back to my posting history.
What's going on here?

FIB at work LOL
“Yelling” is a word you added, right there, in the sentence.
Have you already asked Jim Robinson or his son?
Your problem is in the deep, cold waters of internet function and triangulation. I certainly would not be qualified to give a proper response. Good luck, while doing your part to spread the real news.

“Video of woman with a bullhorn yelling instructions through…”
Note the word “yelling.” Why did you put that word in your sentence?
You flubbed up your own HTML.
I think since your first word after the link is “yelling” you just messed up in the typing. If I click on it I get 404 not found.
I had posted earlier this morning on Viva Frei that this very video from Jan 6 has been MIA. I even commented about the woman in the pink hat. I didn’t have the copy of the video though. Can you send it to Tucker? If we remember it other people have to remember it also. Good luck.
FIB’s got an active presence here.
Not valid HTML
“https://freerepublic.com/focus/bloggers/4075468/yelling“
is not valid HTML, you screwed it up.
Why would I do that, and why did prior posts have the same mistake, but with different post links?
Look at this:
Here is the post directly in the thread:
https://freerepublic.com/focus/bloggers/4075468/posts?page=44#44Hover over the bullhorn link and you will see this: https://freerepublic.com/focus/bloggers/4075468/yelling
Now, here is the same post from my posting history. Scrolling down to the actual post, the text has been changed to this:
https://freerepublic.com/tag/by:politicaljunkietoo/yelling
Any ideas about what's going on?

Always put videos like this on an EXTERNAL back up device..not your computer.

I see /yelling at the end of the original link/thread at post #44.
The other links seem to be fine.
Did you test the link to make sure it worked when you posted it?
Looks like a slightly botched cut & paste job to me. Like you accidentally pasted the next word in the sentence which was “yelling” into the link.
You didn’t make that mistake in your other post so it’s formatted correctly and works normally.
Occam’s Razor says user error in this case IMO. That link in your one post probably never worked right and you just didn’t notice it until now.

I'll add new information to your post.
I don't repost, I reopen prior posts, right-click and choose "view page source," find my original post and copy the html directly from prior posts.
I do not alter the text after that, so something must have happened after I posted.
