How come the link is different when I see the post in "my posts"? How come the link when I open the actual post is different than what's shown in the summary of my posts?

So you’re seeing different links in the same post when you’re looking at it in “my posts” versus looking at the actual post? If so, then that is strange. Can you get a screen shot of these?
