I believe the flood legends of MANY cultures around the world, ultimately came from Noah’s Genesis 6 Flood. If you believe something different, so be it.

The Old Testament version of a world flood is younger than the first written version of the world flood story, from Babylon. If you believe something and nonfactual, so be it.

Are you referring to the first flood which made the earth without land and void or the second flood of Noah’s time.?

My post was in answer to the ludicrous claim that all the world flood stories (none of which match each other) come from the OT. Regardless, neither one is as old as the Babylonian acc’t, or the big inscription that describes the Sumerian kings before and after the flood.

Are you referring to the first flood which made the earth without land and void or the second flood of Noah’s time.?I believe there were two floods as well bro. Since I don’t believe God creates anything that is void and without form, how did it get that way? I don’t know. Possibly, that was when Lucifer rebelled, but we just don’t know for sure. I would like to know who killed Nimrod? Was it Shem? Was it Abraham? Who knows?

Was it Esau?I have heard rumors to that affect as well. Maybe, after he got his morsel of food, he went out and did the deed. 🤪🤪🤪🤪

"I have heard rumors to that affect as well. Maybe, after he got his morsel of food, he went out and did the deed." The story in the book of Jasher is that the reason Esau was famished and exhausted was because he had just killed Nimrod and two of his men, who had been out hunting.

Interesting, thank you. 👍 Maybe I had the cart before the horse. I just knew someone did him in.
