In a hypothetical presidential matchup, Florida Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis would garner more support against President Joe Biden than former President Donald Trump would, a new poll from Marquette University finds.
Forty-five percent of registered voters preferred DeSantis, versus 38% of registered voters who preferred Biden in a hypothetical matchup between the two.
In a hypothetical contest between Biden and Trump, the two were even, each gaining 40% of registered voters' preference.
Just among Republican voters and independents who lean Republican, DeSantis had a slightly higher favorability rating. Seventy-one percent of those voters said they have a favorable view of DeSantis, while 70% said they had a favorable view of Trump.
Among that same group of voters, ten percent said they had an unfavorable view of DeSantis while 28% had an unfavorable view of Trump.
Republican voters and Republican-leaning independent voters also preferred DeSantis as the eventual Republican presidential nominee over Trump by 28 percentage points, as 64% of this group of voters preferred DeSantis as the nominee, compared to 36% who said they preferred Trump to be the nominee.

These are a bunch of lies, and the point is that you know this poll is not accurate, and you are just using DeSantis to defeat Trump, but you won’t support him and know he can’t defeat Trump. Ron’s press sec cheered the murder of Ashli Babbitt.

DeSantis...future of the party, eventually. He has made overtures that he wants to finish his term as FL Gov. He may put his sights on the White House but not 2024. NBC does polls to steer public opinion, not measure it. I saw ‘registered viters’ and stopped reading as this is an unserious poll.

Candidates will be discussed at kitchen tables, restaurant tables, and at office breakrooms.
The most important thing is to agree to support the party nom. The surest way to hand the Dems our fine Country is to to try to make an indignant "statement" that you will either not vote for the nom or will go third party.

In 2018, DeSantis barely won by the skin of his teeth in a purple state. Today, Florida is solid red and that's because of DeSantis' excellent leadership.
DeSantis pivoted on the “vaccines”. His Surgeon General advised against young men getting them. DeSantis asked for and got a Grand Jury to investigate the “vaccines”.
President Trump is still claiming that the “vaccines” saved hundreds of millions of people and is completely ignoring the injuries and deaths associated. The Democrats are already starting to pivot and hoping President Trump will be left holding the bag.
President Trump is still my man to fight the swamp, but he needs to wake up on this one and come up with a more cogent position or he will be left looking completely out of touch with reality.
