In 2018, DeSantis barely won by the skin of his teeth in a purple state. Today, Florida is solid red and that's because of DeSantis' excellent leadership.
Candidate quality does matter. Just not as much as who controls the vote counting. If you don't acknowledge the problem, you have no chance of fixing it.
