Linda; When Newt Gingrich the Ds filed something like 800 ethics violation charges against him. He agreed to accept a charge of misuse of a 501c (which was debatable) so he did not have to spend all his time fighting the charges. Of course, once he did that they used that against him.
I have not been keeping up with it to be honest, although a lot of congress people have become very rich in the last 10 years!

No, Rand is the one who fails to recognize spiritual reality, and creates a fantasy.
In her defense, I am convinced she was sexually abused as a young child in the USSR. This is almost always true in the case of Borderline Personality Disorder.
She is a textbook case. Brilliant mind, but in denial of much that is human (because it is too painful), attempting to substitute an intellectual construct (which then must be psychologically defended) for God. Her psychosis is very evident in the clip you provided, as well as the personal history I mentioned earlier.

You know, for what has come along since, to implode our government, JW along with the church emanated how & when to draw red lines.
When decency is inate and examples set before you, mental gymnastics popular today are not required to recognize a threat and to resist it post haste.
In order to recognize easily when the line is crossed, freedom fades and subtle tyrannies arise.
We are witness to the evolution of corrupt influence in church, state and education.
