Linda; When Newt Gingrich the Ds filed something like 800 ethics violation charges against him. He agreed to accept a charge of misuse of a 501c (which was debatable) so he did not have to spend all his time fighting the charges. Of course, once he did that they used that against him.
I have not been keeping up with it to be honest, although a lot of congress people have become very rich in the last 10 years!
