There will be oodles of E.V.s stuck. Batteries should not be charged in freezing temps.

I guess ours isn’t impressive, but it’s 16F just Northeast of DC (we rarely get this cold...and I miss radiators. Forced-air just doesn’t cut it.)

I-35 closed in northern half of Iowa. Many closed roads in Minnesota. Sub-zero temps and high winds all around.
Looks like no relief until Christmas Day.

Double edge problem in cold weather. Charging them, and needing to run the heaters which will more quickly drain the battery.
Nothing against new technology, just not right for everyone in every climate.

I used to drive by the internet-famous “LIZZARD WARNING” electronic sign all the time. It’s on Northern State Parkway on Long Island. The first letter block was dead for a long time, usually it said “RAFFIC MOVING WELL.”

F you!! LOL!
I have my smartphone setup for text alerts if it ever rains in Furnace Creek, or freezes in Frostproof. It does rain once in a while in Furnace Creek, I guess.
