Actress Kirstie Alley has died at the age of 71, according to a statement from her family.
“We are sad to inform you that our incredible, fierce and loving mother has passed away after a battle with cancer, only recently discovered,” according to the statement published to her official social media channels Monday evening.
Sorry to hear that. Maybe go do some social things. YMCA, painting class, book club, etc..
Yep, neat eyes.
For Richer or Poorer with Tim Allen. Going rural. They had Amish neighbors who they helped and the neighbors helped them. RIP Miss Kristie
She was on an episode of King of Queens as herself. She was hilarious poking fun at herself. Carrie was hired as her personal assistant (I think that was the set-up) She paid Carrie to eat for her vicariously.
She was able to poke fun at herself and her foibles/image. Much like William Shatner.
I love a celebrity who knows who/they are and celebrate it!
RIP
A very underrated movie.
“I keep behaving and working out as if I’m 22. I’m not.”
I did too until my feet said no más.
I will miss her- She was good, made people laugh (on Cheers), did not make her politics known, as far as I knew, and an all around Great Lady. RIP, Kirstie,
So sad to learn of this. She’s a dear friend of a good friend of mine and I always held hope of meeting her one day, through him. Will be a big loss for him.
Hahaha there is only very old people there J/K
Actually I keep fairly busy maintaining the house, cars and helping wife who can not even drive the car due to stage-4 cancer. But we did manage to do 5 cruises between September 2021 and April 2022. The prices were bargains and ships were half full with no lines or crowds. Looking forward to probably her last cruise next month, joined by 2 daughters and their husbands, on Norwegian Escape ship.
I’m 47 and training for Masters Track and Field to compete at 50.
I also want to pass the PAST test once more. It’s qualifying for USAF PJ Indoc.
Then I’ll slow down…a little.
I hope everything goes well for you and yours.
Same here mate...June 1940 baby. Have lost a whole bunch of freinds, relatives, and doggies over the years. But we just keep on chugging through the snow until we can’t anymore. Godspeed.
Good on you...keep doing it as long as you can. You’ll know when to hang up the spikes.
Take it from me, regular workout, even a mild one, will add years to your life WITHOUT many old age standard ailments. It gets boring to be the only dude in our community gym, but it is keeping me out of doctors office. I came down with covid infection a month ago, but recoverd in 2 days rest at home.
I don’t know what she died from, but that yo-yo dieting is truly dangerous for your heart. So sorry to hear of her passing. May you rest in peace, beautiful lady.
Nice. I’m glad you keep going. I started sports at 5, and training at 14. I never stopped since.
Adding in some yoga and daily meditation has helped me out physically and mentally.
I’m naturally “full of energy”, so calming down is a struggle.
One of the most courageous women in HollyWierd. Did she get the shot since it does cause cancer.
I was surprised to see her in a British reality documentary called “Time Crashers”.

She was a kick in that show! An American personality in a very British show!
RIP Kirstie.
No one gets out alive..
