ONE of Vladimir Putin’s mobilisation chiefs has been found dead in “suspicious” circumstances prompting a murder investigation.
The body of Lt-Col Roman Malyk, 49, was discovered near the fence of his home as the Russian tyrant announced his chaotic mobilization was being called off.

Police investigating the death of Malyk have opened a murder probe but have not ruled out suicide.
Some reports said Putin's enlistment chief died from hanging.
His “suspicious” death comes after a spate of attacks on mobilisation offices across Russia.

I hear a lot of negativity on the threads. But I smell opportunity. With a lot of high ranking officers in Putins regime gone/missing that means room for advancement. I expect I could be a general over there in about six months time. Which I would need at least that long to learn Russian.

That is a wise position. Those who know warfare, know that there are too many variables to make definitive predictions. Ole NorseViking said back in February that Kiev would fall within days. He went out on a limb and the winds of war blew it off the tree.

“not suicide?” Well maybe it just might have been. If he volunteered to be top dog in Pootin’s draft mobilization program, for a losing war, it might very well have been a seweycide move. Certainly not a career enhancer. Visualize a couple years downstream. The guy pops into the corner bar. “you remember me, I’m the guy who drafted your kids and got them killed in Uke.” yeah, we remember: BOOM
The way they’re handling Ukraine, you might not have much of a problem motivating the conscripts and actually pulling off some victories.
If that is not a famous quote, it should be.
