Yeah, I little over-shopped around the eyes. She looks like a liberal!
how long did it take to create that scene?
I assume you're talking about model railroading, if not please ignore. I'm trying to get back into the hobby after 50 years. Monetary and space limitations necessitate N scale starter products. Have you had any success ordering online? If so, who are some of your trusted dealers? Please PM if you have any tips or pointers. TYIA.
*bonk* (nice pic, but needs more Megumin)
Thanks for the Rikka last thread too. Luv that.
Meanwhile, on topic, sorta:
Get well soon, Mr. Bags, and all others who haven’t been feeling well :)
And keep on Freeq’in.
Why can’t she post links from a cell phone? I post links from a cell phone all the time.
When I was stationed in Germany, I once drove by a Nuclear Power Plant. I did not realize it at the time. I simply marveled at those giant towers (cooling towers) so close to the road. I realized sometime later just what they were. Likely after the Three Mile Island business, and that film ‘China Syndrome.’ My ignorance was profound.
Now, these days, this climate change nonsense has entire nations rejecting energy sources that are directly under their feet. Entire Economies and populations have placed themselves in grave danger with insipid national energy policies.
Coal has been rejected, nuclear power has been shunned, and we are digging up Lithium (and Cobalt, other elements) in trace amounts while scarring the Earth all in the name of ‘Environmentalism.’ It is just crazy. Germany is returning to nuclear power, and likely coal. It is gloomy and overcast for more than half of the year there, at least where I was, so Solar is out of the question.
I suppose that I could go on, but there seems little point. We are being steered into the old Barry Maguire song, and like riding a roller coaster we have our hands in the air, as if surrendering.
None of this computes for me.
I’ve narrowed down the woman on the left as Ursula von der Leyen, a member of Merkel’s cabinet? Still working on the woman on the right.
#1pal.. where did you get this pic from?
ThankQ for the info !!!
The woman on the left is, I’m pretty sure, Ursula von der Leyen, a member ?? of Merkel’s cabinet. Still trying to find who the woman on the right is.
BookmarQed!
>train stuff slide
I suspect they were talking about real trains.
If you want to get into model railroading again, after 50 years, I wouldn’t recommend N scale. Yes, it’s tiny, but if you want stuff that isn’t junk, it’s not going to be any cheaper.
It’s also not very user friendly for old eyes and fingers. Yes, I have some.
I would recommend getting an Atlas or Kato starter set. Bachmann is junk, and I’m dubious about the other manufacturers.
Personally, while it would take up more space, I think that HO scale is much more user friendly, and often cheaper.
Aside from Amazon/eBay, my favorite online place for train stuff is https://www.modeltrainstuff.com/
Anyway, enough about all that. I’m sure that everyone else is tired of this diversion and would like to welcome Mr. Bags back to the company of the living. Yay!
Good luck, and I hope you enjoy your trains!
A covid test is quite helpful if you’re potentially going to get some time off from work with pay. LOL
Otherwise, the tests are junk, I agree.
Mark
AHA... success... stupid me. The woman on the right is Olena Zelenska.
is this fo real?
adding to watch list: masks
funny
Lol, you were nicer about it than I was but that’s my point. Most conservatives that test do it because it’s required, not because they want to, Nobody should be belittled for choosing to test or wear a mask in order to work, or get a few days off. The alternative is bad.
My daughter gets tested a lot just to keep working. If anybody tests positive (real or not) the entire bunch works from home with orders to test at home.
I don’t test because I’m retired but I understand and support those tha must without ridicule.
your welcome to the party pal, is always welcomed to the party, pal. thanks for the explanation...
So, how many proposals did you make in the hospital?
