Video shows a New York Police Department (NYPD) officer basically flattening a woman who slapped him in the face as authorities were trying to arrest a separate individual.
The incident unfolded Tuesday shortly before 5:00 p.m. in front of 174 West 136th Street, where police were arresting a 22-year-old man sought in connection with an attempted murder that had taken place earlier in the month.
While authorities effected the arrest, another individual was then arrested after police found a loaded firearm and a “large amount of a controlled substance,” according to the NYPD.
Things took a turn, though, when several people began “physically assaulting numerous officers.”
The video shows officers attempting to arrest what appears to be two individuals as bystanders shriek. One female then walks up an officer and appears to slap him in the face before he hits her back, knocking her to the ground.
“Why would you do that? That’s a little girl bro,” a bystander screams at the cop. Officers then helped the female stand up before cuffing her.
Police said one officer “sustained a minor injury to the head” but it is unclear whether the officer in the video is the same officer. Three individuals were arrested for assaulting a police officer, resisting arrest and harassment, among other charges. A fourth person was issued a criminal court summons after spitting on an officer, according to authorities.
One of the standard rules is “Men don’t hit women” and it’s a pretty good rule. But the corollary is “Women don’t hit men”. If that second rule is violated, then the first rule is no longer tin operation. Self defense is paramount — and at that point females find out that it’s not like in the movies: men can kick their ass pretty damn severely. So don’t be stupid and hit men. You will be sorry.
Women need to keep their hands to themselves.

NYC-where police are constantly under humiliating assault due to a lack of prosecution efforts. NYC-where two police officers last year sitting in their cruiser were assassinated in broad daylight. A police officer attempting to arrest a person wanted on murder charges. The perp’s girlfriend physically interferes. I’d say the police officer’s response was forseeable and reasonable in light of the facts and circumstances.
You don’t want to get jacked in the maw by a cop, then don’t interfere with him exercising his duties while arresting a murder suspect. Especially in an environment where it is known to be open-season on the police.

A black guy and white guy were just starting round 1, they danced around the ring for about 10 seconds, then the black guy struck out with a left hook and the white guy went down and OUT..........K-O!..............

The woman is lucky the cop really didn't give her a shot. I didn't even see any blood on her face in that video. Although, even if she had a flattened bloody nose and a broken jaw, she still has no complaint because she committed assault. (on a police officer no less)
