go watch The professor of Rock on youtube, and all those 80 and 90’s rockers are here in California. I personally spoke to them thru the years and the number one reason they dont want to go back is because of TAXES and SOCIALISM. Some of them said they’ll only “go back” to be BURIED in the UK.
For what it’s worth, it’s the weather too. One of the guys close to us in Malibu is a British rock star who had 2 hits in the 80’s, lives off the royalties and does nothing but drink himself silly while 10 feet away from the beach. He told me he won’t go back to Manchester unless there’s a death in the family (too cold).

Northern England was an industrial dynamo. Those days are long gone, so how does that area support itself. The real jobs have been gone for a few decades. That is where Ozzy is from.

Two men were arrested on Thursday and Friday in connection with the murder of 9-year-old Olivia Pratt-Korbel last week, who was shot to death at her family’s home in Liverpool, northwestern England, on Monday evening, police said.
A 33-year-old man and a 36-year-old man were arrested on suspicion of murder, as well as two counts of attempted murder, but were both released on bail. The 36-year-old, however, was later returned to prison for violating the terms of his license, which is similar to probation.
