I needed to make an appointment for a vision exam to get some new glasses. My ophthalmologist now refuses to see me because I have refused to take the clot shot. Another one similarly would not see me for the same reason. I told both of them that I reject THEM for insisting on a procedure which has been shown to have terrible side effects and which does not keep you from catching COVID. Witness the many "break-through" cases in the news. Finally found another one who will see me. Have any fellow FReepers experienced similar exclusions from doctors?
Find a doctor who is not a left wing liberal and actually practices medicine based on established science and not politics.
They are self identifying. These are “doctors” who are in it for the money and you are better off finding a doctor that cares.
Might be worthwhile to suggest for our triple-vaxxed nutso family.
The situation with supermarket clerks is a special case.
The worst I have dealt with is a requirement for a negative Covid test, and/or a mask requirement.
I have an opthamologist appointment tomorrow. Been advised that I must wear a mask and they will not be doing the dilation drops but will be taking a “picture,” which will cost me an extra $25 or so. Don’t know if it’s to keep exposure time to a minimum or what. I am seriously overdue, so I will suck it up and do it. Had they required a vax, I would have gone elsewhere.
I plan to have my glasses as steamed up as I can get them when I sit down in the chair. If I have to suffer, so do they.
Haven’t had to wear a mask, at our opthamologist’s office, for a year.
These blue states need push back...this is out of control.

The state medical board would dismiss a report of this outright. Filing a complaint on bad faith would result in exposure to the complainant. Under what theory should this physician be reported?
Will not surprise me if it happens in the future but not yet.
Why is it any business of your eye doctor in the first place?

No theory, but law. Anyone denying a patient medical care is guilty of blatant discrimination.
Most states have made it illegal for employers, governments or private businesses to treat unvaccinated people any differently than vaccinated people, using the same language found in federal civil rights law.
I would find a real physician.
I would also leave NYC.
