The teachers in Uvalde were not armed. This whole article is a BS strawman.

If a group of police officers couldn't stop a shooter, then why would we expect an individual teacher or security guard to do better? 1)The element of surprise. 2) Deterrence in the first place might have prevented this in the first place because as we know, schools are gun free zones.

The shooter was a “person of color”, making the police hold their hands so that they’re not racist.

There were no armed teachers and the cops took an hour before going in...so the conclusion is arming teachers or having armed security inside could not have helped?

But the inability of police to stop the gunman at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, before he killed at least 19 children and two teachers Tuesday exposes the poor reasoning behind that proposal. That's because they stood around for 40 minutes to get the body count up.

Given those details, I find it increasingly impossible to understand how one could believe that the solution to school shootings is arming teachers or having a security guard protecting every school. If a group of police officers couldn’t stop a shooter, then why would we expect an individual teacher or security guard to do better?I dunno, you should ask Israel.

The Texas shooting shows the futility of arming teachers LEOsquite a few LEOs with tactical gear, including two US Marshalls. At least two LEOs wearing tactical gear that included a helmet. And they all stood around waiting for a special team from Border Patrol.

Who is this dumbass Zeeshan Aleem?
If either of the 2 teacher victims was armed, it’s news to me.
And if they were - and the shooter knew that teachers were armed, I’ll bet my left nut that he wouldn’t have gone there.

The moron who penned this piece cannot understand that he teacher in that classroom was inside and could have taken this bastard out fast before all the killing.
Cops couldn’t stop him because he went inside and locked the class door. An armed teacher in the room could have taken him out.

The Texas shooting shows the futility of arming teachers And it also shows why you should never give up your guns - the police will not rush in to protect you.

Apparently the fact that an overwhelming number of mass shootings, occur in Gun Free Zones, is somehow escaping this “journalist “
The students and teachers had no means to defend themselves, let alone to actively fight back. And DEMs never fail to side with criminals, over innocent bystanders, because …. White supremacy or something
