I dropped eating fast food a long time ago. Now if I go out to eat, I just go to places where I know the staff. Of course it’s a little difficult when traveling. I just stay real picky about where I go when I do.

This used to be a high-trust society. You could be sure that someone preparing food in a restaurant would not urinate in your food. That is, apparently, no longer true.

I know a lady who hasn't been to a restaurant in 20 years because of an incident like this.

If someone was trying to destroy the economy, this is one attack vector.

Back in 1985, when I lived in Bozeman Mt, I applied for a job as a cook at the Cowboy Cafe. They needed a new breakfast cook, and I got the job. Found out ta few Months later that the job was available, because one morning the owner came into work earlier than usual and caught the cook in the walking cooler pissing in a bucket that had spaghetti noodles in it.

From what I learned, they quietly fired him and threatened to sue him if he told anyone. In a small town like Bozeman at the time, if the word got out it would have destroyed the guys restaurant. It was only a breakfast and lunch diner, and they would have had to close.

So they fired him, kept it hush hush, and went on about their business. Needless to say the customers loved me and so did the owner. After I learned about why they fired him, I would casually ask customers ion they ever tasted better spaghetti. It was an ongoing joke with me and the waitresses.

I worked for them for about three years, before moving on to greener pastures as a manager of a Pizza Hut.

I seldom eat out. When I worked at a forensics hospital, heard from some of our patients who worked at restaurants and fast food places the things they added to food..mostly saliva, and urine.
