Washington Arby's manager charged with assault after police say he peed in milkshake mix

A manager at an Arby's fast food restaurant in Washington state has been accused of urinating into a milkshake mix that might then have been served to dozens of people.

Police in Vancouver, just across the Columbia River from Portland, Oregon, said they uncovered footage of the 29-year-old man peeing into a bag of milkshake mix as they were executing a search warrant on his phone as part of a child pornography investigation, The Columbian newspaper reported.

I dropped eating fast food a long time ago. Now if I go out to eat, I just go to places where I know the staff. Of course it’s a little difficult when traveling. I just stay real picky about where I go when I do.

This used to be a high-trust society. You could be sure that someone preparing food in a restaurant would not urinate in your food. That is, apparently, no longer true.

I know a lady who hasn't been to a restaurant in 20 years because of an incident like this.

If someone was trying to destroy the economy, this is one attack vector.
