Meteorites are not ‘flaming rocks of doom,' NASA says
The “bright fireball” was traveling at 35,000 mph when it exploded at 8:03 a.m. with the “energy equivalent of 3 tons of TNT,” according to NASA Meteor Watch, the agency's project that tracks fireball activity.
“Existing law states that any meteorites belong to the owner of the property on which they fell; out of respect for the privacy of those in the area, we will not disclose the locations of these finds,”
And finding anything of value is likely harder than you think.
“The pieces from this object were way too small to leave a crater. Unlike what you see in the movies, meteorites are not ‘flaming rocks of doom’ that blast holes in the ground. In fact, you can pick one up right after it hits ground. So no smoking rocks in small craters.”

The dog is clipped and glad to be cooler. She’s been much more interested in her new bag of food than the last foods we’ve tried. We’ll see if this helps. Meanwhile I need to call Petsmart to find out where to donate the old bags we had bought ahead.
Sometimes I’m pleasantly surprised when I guess a word that I’m sure won’t be it but I need to eliminate some more letters.

Good morning. The water wasn’t as hot as I wanted, but it was OK. At least I’m clean and I smell better!
FS is going to take a couple of things to the post office for me today. While I was waiting for postage to be calculated, I got a warning that I couldn’t print until I downloaded the update for stamps.com. *sheesh* I’m glad I waited before I printed stamps. That’s what happens when gas prices go through the roof. Everybody pays because someone decided to play with the pipelines. But don’t get me started.
Anyway, I need to start my letter to Charlie, then finish getting the packages ready.

If I had known this place was so heavy on the brown recluse side, I might have thought twice about moving here. Of course, I can’t afford to move back, much as I’d like to, but it is what it is.
I just HATE spiders!
Speaking of dog food, we are needing to take measures (i.e., buy a whole bunch more) to build up a stored reserve in case that particular ‘supply chain’ develops problems... when we had the 3 dogs, all adults, no pups, we used to be able to maintain 4 50 lb bags in storage with no problem... by the time I would go in to get a bag, the replacement was already on the way... we figured that would hold them for a bit while we scrambled to find some replacements...
But with this new Pyrenees pup, he eats an incredible amount of food each day... lately we get down to having only one bag available before the replacement arrives (auto-ship from Chewy)... this guy, Peter, the Pyrenees pup, is almost 90 lbs and he is just over 6 months old...
So we are going to buy up as much as we can, as I’ve been seeing some hints of that supply chain slowing down...
