Meteorites are not ‘flaming rocks of doom,' NASA says
The “bright fireball” was traveling at 35,000 mph when it exploded at 8:03 a.m. with the “energy equivalent of 3 tons of TNT,” according to NASA Meteor Watch, the agency's project that tracks fireball activity.
“Existing law states that any meteorites belong to the owner of the property on which they fell; out of respect for the privacy of those in the area, we will not disclose the locations of these finds,”
And finding anything of value is likely harder than you think.
“The pieces from this object were way too small to leave a crater. Unlike what you see in the movies, meteorites are not ‘flaming rocks of doom’ that blast holes in the ground. In fact, you can pick one up right after it hits ground. So no smoking rocks in small craters.”

I’ve noticed lately that my standard starter words haven’t been yielding much fruit...
Video games don’t amuse me, except for an occasional round of Trivial Pursuit.
My dreams are about trying to get other people to do things, which is stressful, but typical of camp season!

Strange, once I solve the word and move on, I don’t remember what the word was. I have to look if the other family members start discussing it. I just had to look up today’s.
I do that too. It’s like, “Well, that’s done, now onto whatever is next.” And that’s the end.
So, I’m sitting here and missing OFST and remembering that one time we did opposite day.
I was thinking of starting it here, but then I realized that with this White House EVERY day is opposite day.

Nothing is planned today. Except maybe to finish updating my website password book. I try to do it every time I move, but I’m only about half-finished with the transfer. Today may be a good time to do it.
