This is to my friends in the trucking community. Don’t come to DC in your convoy. I fully understand and agree with your very valid concerns over their treatment of America and am with you in spirit. Everything from the failed Afghanistan withdrawal and their disastrous open borders policy, to shutting down American oil production, sabotaging our supply chain with insane regulations, right up to Biden’s inept handling of the Ukrainian crisis, has been a deliberate effort to undermine and destroy America. It is impossible to consider this as mere incompetence. They are doing it on purpose.
But you will be helping them. And it will not end well. El Comandante Trudeau (Castro Jr.?) has already set the table. Arresting, jailing and confiscating the property of Truckers and anyone who helps them is a precedent already set by our kindly northern neighbors.

I don’t think it matters if they come or not.
The fed can send in a few trucks into DC that morning, cause problems and blame it on the convoy. The MSM will follow their lead.
The convoy is well aware what the feds can do and from what I’ve read they just plan to circle the beltway and NOT go into D.C.
I hope they do come. The optics of tons of people standing on the beltway overpasses cheering them on would be a giant “Let’s Go Brandon”

What if the truckers maybe didn’t go into DC, but just surrounded it, blocking off the roads into DC, leaving narrow openings so that individual cars and emergency vehicles could get through but truck deliveries would be difficult. They could watch for any trucks displaying Nazi, confederate, etc flags and tear them down, force them out…. Make a big show of “we don’t like them, they are not us”.
They would be able to make a visible and powerful peaceful statement, show DC what it would be like to get no deliveries into town for a month…. More like setting an example or lesson, exercising their free speech rights, rather than making an ultimatum. And afterwards, leaving peacefully all together yet leaving the message of, “ don’t tread on us”.
Like the historical Boston Tea Party, the patriots didn’t stay after making their statement (tossing the tea) then stand in place with an ultimatum. They made their point and then left, leaving the rulers to think about the ramifications.
Time for the sunshine patriots to stfu and gtfo of the way.
It is really a strategic conundrum.
Be seen or not to be heard.
A general strike? Press just blames it on the supply chain shortage or now...the war in Ukraine.
A visible protest? Lose your truck, bank account, potentially your job and/or be arrested under “terrorism” laws.
It really is a bad situation our country finds itself in. First Amendment is failing. First it was shadow banning, then outright banning under ever changing TOS, to the concerns we are talking about right on this thread. We are being shutdown and removed from polite society.
We are being silenced.
I say bring it on, for it will awaken even more people. We must show the people what they are planning and what will be disastrous even for people not involved, as well as ,those who may be against it.
I’m a trucker. I don’t get it. US truckers do not have the federally-mandated burdens that the Canadian truckers were recently protesting, but they’re heading to Washington to get 1/6’d for following the failed, naive Canadian convoy protest model. Why, exactly?
Nobody has to show up with the wrong kind of flag. Watch what happens if someone dies because an ambulance, firetruck, or police vehicle got gridlocked on the Beltway due to people with no coherent aims or plan deciding to stage a shiny spectacle.

I think the Truckers in this convoy have watched and learned. There are no plans to go to DC. The fight should be with the states. (CDC is setting policy but has lost all credibility). Now as the trucks begin to move mandates are being dropped. I don’t care if they mean to discredit the convoy, it’s working still.

I sort of agree, I think the best solution would be for the Truckers to just QUIT and go on Strike, NO DELIVERIES of Anything within 100 miles of DC.

Striking is good. Why not just circle the beltways, 395 and 495 for a couple days. The deep staters will get the idea and nobody will be arrested or lose their truck.
It is not just about the mandates Driver... It is against all the government overreach and loss of freedoms, if allowed to fly it will open the door for more garbage. For instance and example, why should commercial drivers have to take a sleep apnea test/study to pass the medical? Who is going to be driving while they are asleep??? It is an illogical unneeded burden. Time to put this garbage to a stop.

Interesting idea. Might have more impact, multiple locations, targeted on local politicians. Health care mandates are imposed by local politicians. Avoids the stigma of blocking traffic. And, travelling to local capitols is far less expensive than travelling cross country.

Giving up, and hiding under your bed is always a winning strategy.
