A woman with a 'very dangerous' brain tumor broke down in tears as she revealed she cannot get surgery to remove it despite doctors saying she needs the procedure ASAP — because the hospital is full of COVID patients.
Amanda Harris, from Portland Oregon, found out she had a brain tumor in October 2021, and was told by her neurologist that she needed to get it surgically removed as soon as possible or it could cause 'irreparable harm' to her brain.
Her doctors are not sure if the tumor is cancerous or not, but because it is 'pressed up against her brain stem' it needs to be taken out immediately.
Unfortunately, Amanda said she is not able to undergo the lifesaving procedure since there are no more beds left in the ICU due to all of the people who are suffering from COVID-19.
Amanda, who works as an artist and woodworker, broke down in tears as she opened up about the heartbreaking situation on TikTok in a video shared at the end of 2021.
'Unfortunately it has been made quite clear that I will not be receiving brain surgery this year to remove my tumor,' she said in the clip, which was posted last month and has since gone viral.
'For those of you who don't know, I was told on October 1 that removal would need to happen by the end of the year to avoid the tumor growing large enough for me to start seeing symptoms which could quite possibly be signs of irreversible brain damage as well as to prevent the tumor from attaching itself more formally to my spinal chord than it already is, and therefore making surgery that much more dangerous.'

This reminds me of that ‘Bomb Magnet’ woman. Her story was so awful that they simply had to keep telling of it happening at different times and places. There will be more of this nonsense.

I’m a bit confused. I live near Tallahassee. There are two hospitals, and while they do surgery there...there are at least six or seven other private surgical sites in town. My back doctor has arrangements with several. One is the urology building. (Private.) One is in the eye surgery center, also private. These are very sophisticated places with MRI’s, CAT scanners and all types of radiation devices. Am I missing something? Why aren’t there alternative surgery facilities there?
Also, those hospitals have sold off a lot of their floorspace to private doctors because otherwise they’d have to accept a whole lot of non-paying patients. Having done so, they can say, “Sorry. We’re out of beds.” I think the author of this article has failed to give us a full picture. Color me surprised.
The real travesty here is the decisions of the doctors and hospitals to deny this woman the treatment she needs by blaming it on a convenient scapegoat group of people that are no more likely to transmit covid than a vaxxed person, by their own admissions.
So the excuse of blaming unvaxxed is 100% bogus.
ICU is full, as per the article. They normally send you to ICU after a surgery like that.

I wonder if the bed “shortage” might be at least partially due to the despicable policy of firing doctors,nurses,technicians,etc who refuse to get the shot.
A boyfriend of a relative could not get cancer treatment last year unless he had a negative covid test. So he took tests until he got a negative one.
I just went thru six months of waiting for my pacemaker. It's not because your neurosurgeon is busy with covid patients. The operating room technicians and staff are assigned to more profitable revenue streams. The administrators of hospitals are pleasing their bureaucrats with this nonsense.
ANOTHER one of those stories about someone who can’t get needed medical care because, apparently, the ONE HOSPITAL IN THE ENTIRE WORLD is full of COVID patients.
