PS- I am not coughing very much either, so there’s a good sign too. I cough two or three times a day, and not the dry covid cough I heard to watch out for. It’s a cough that clears post-nasal drip from the night before, like a regular cold.

I can fully fill my lungs and have no chest pain. I read about that tonight too, the chest pain and shortness of breath. I don’t have either of those.

Do you all have one of those little things that clip to your finger to measure oxygen levels? If not, you should have one. Your “normal” oxygen level should be about 96. Mine and my husband’s got down to about 85...very abnormal. It’s always good to have one of those around, just in case. I don’t think they are expensive. They also measure heart rate.

I’m relieved to hear that you’ve been able to do more things. At least your energy level seems to be returning. Just don’t overdo so you don’t relapse. One good thing is that you will have natural antibodies now. Should help relieve your mind. It did mine. LOL!

I don’t have an oxygen sensor, should get one. The FLCCC Alliance webpage says they are not as accurate as professional sensors but still useful in detecting downward trends of oxygen level. I suppose Walgreens has them.

I think most drug stores would have them. I think the one we have belonged to my MIL before she passed away. But, we wouldn’t have known how far our oxygen level had fallen without it. It wouldn’t have crossed our minds.

I just ordered one from Amazon. Looks like a good one. Was $36. Lots of good reviews. Walgreens website for my local store said they don’t stock most of the ones they sell. What they had in stock looked too cheap. Will get it on or before Feb.3. I really should have had one a while ago. It gives the pulse rate too. Was called a pulse oximeter.

Cheers

In God We Put Our Trust
Read: Jeremiah 17:5–8

Blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him. Jeremiah 17:7

The baby wasn’t due for another six weeks, but the doctor had just diagnosed Whitney with cholestasis, a liver condition common in pregnancy. In a whirlwind of emotions, Whitney was taken to the hospital where she received treatment and was told her baby would be induced in twenty-four hours! In another part of the hospital, ventilators and other equipment needed for the onslaught of COVID-19 cases were being put into place. As a result, Whitney was sent home. She made the decision to trust God and His plans, and she delivered a healthy baby a few days later.

When Scripture takes root in us, it transforms the way we react in trying situations. Jeremiah lived in a time when most of society trusted in human alliances, and the worship of idols was prevalent. The prophet contrasts the person who “draws strength from mere flesh and whose heart turns away from the Lord” (Jeremiah 17:5) with the one who trusts in God. “Blessed is the one . . . whose confidence is in him. They will be like a tree planted by the water that . . . does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green” (vv. 7–8).

As believers in Jesus, we’re called to live by faith as we look to Him for solutions. As He provides the strength, we can choose to fear or to trust Him. God says we’re blessed—fully satisfied—when we choose to place our trust in Him.Regie Keller

When have you felt worried or afraid and then were reminded of God’s promise to bless those who trust Him? How has the realization that you can trust God in all circumstances brought you relief?

Dear God, thank You that I can trust You in all situations and come to You in prayer. You’re right there in the midst of my struggles, and You give me strength.

That is the best map of potential snowfall I have seen.
I have a relative who lives near Boston.

I am kicking myself for not getting an oxygen sensor a week ago!
Should have done that last Saturday.

I came across important info tonight. When trying to stop a cytokine storm you must not consume immune-boosting foods/supplement because it makes the storm worse because one side of the cytokines is over-reacting from illness, and then the other side is over-immune-boosted, and you get a nuclear type reaction of big trouble.

What is confusing is that you need those things early in the illness, and then later they will make things worse.

I am grateful I found one article tonight that warned about this. Only one did.

I thought I was doing the right thing, but it was 100% wrong.

I am drinking a lot of water to flush out the supplements.

Still taking ivermectin as an anti-inflammatory, but no zinc, as I believe the active virus is gone.

Man! All the information is so confusing. However, I did continue to take my normal vitamins during my illness, even though it took lots of will power to drink enough water to get them down.

I was thinking earlier, and then remembered that I was so weak that it took every effort to take a bath or wash my hair. I never want to feel that way again!

Such fun, eh?
Perhaps I will be OK now that I read that vitamins are bad at this stage.
I was still taking the bigger amounts that Dr.Zelenko recommends when ill.
I am pretty sure I now know more than any doctor around here, about treating covid.🙄 I did not want to have to know that much.

Good Night

Yes, out of necessity and because of so many conflicting opinions and all the lies being told, we have had to become our own experts. Plus, every case I’ve discussed with people is different. And it also depends on when you got it.

My son and his wife have had it these past 2 weeks. They were barely sick, and my son was having fun with the fact that he had zero taste and smell. I’m glad they didn’t have the version I had. I hope you are back “up to snuff” before very long. You seem to have done all the right things!

Perfect Like Christ
Read: Matthew 19:16–26

Be perfect . . . as your heavenly Father is perfect. Matthew 5:48

Perfectionism is one of the scariest words I know,” Kathleen Norris writes, thoughtfully contrasting modern-day perfectionism with the “perfection” described in the book of Matthew. Modern-day perfectionism she describes as “a serious psychological affliction that makes people too timid to take necessary risks.” But the word translated “perfect” in Matthew actually means mature, complete, or whole. Norris concludes, “To be perfect . . . is to make room for growth [and become] mature enough to give ourselves to others.”

Understanding perfection this way helps make sense of the profound story told in Matthew 19, where a man asked Jesus what good he could do to “get eternal life” (v. 16). Jesus responded, “Keep the commandments” (v. 17). The man thought he’d obeyed all of them, yet he knew something was missing. “What do I still lack?” (v. 20) he asked.

That’s when Jesus identified the man’s wealth as the vise-grip stifling his heart. He said that if he wanted “to be perfect”—whole, willing to give and receive from others in God’s kingdom—then he must be willing to let go of what was closing off his heart from others (v. 21).

Each of us has our own version of perfection—possessions or habits we cling to as a futile attempt to be in control. Today, hear Jesus’ gentle invitation to surrender—and find freedom in the wholeness that’s only possible in Him (v. 26).Monica La Rose

When have you mistaken personal goals for biblical “perfection”? How can surrendering control to God offer freedom from perfectionism?

Loving God, forgive me for so often mistaking my own self-improvement ambitions for growing in You! Help me to surrender control and embrace a life of freedom with You.

Amazon sent me notice that the oxygen sensor should be here Sunday. I hope so. I figured it would be here way before Wednesday. They ship quickly.

Took a long walk a little while ago. Feel pretty good.

Should be resolving things since I stopped taking supplements last night.

I can’t believe the level of detail you have to learn to stay out of a hospital.

This doctor is tired!

I know. It’s hard being the doc! But I think lives are saved at home rather than being in a hospital bed and not moving around to keep the bodily fluids moving. Just my theory, but I am convinced that staying home and having to do stuff like feed cats, etc, saved us. Too many sick people in hospitals. LOL!
