*Chit Chat* I just had a phone interview for a manufacturing position with Blue Origin - HSV. I was told me that I would be required to get vaccinated to be considered for the job. This has to be new (within a few months) because...well I just know.

If you are in a right to work state get the vaccine or look elsewhere. It’s a private company I assume making a private decision.

Help me understand how this is a “private business decision” if the Federal Government is mandating it with huge fines for all companies not implementing the mandate?

My brother-in-law works in a highly skilled trade for a place you would expect to be ruthless about vaxxing requirements [higher ed - blue as blue can be].

My sister-in-law told me that his department head is giving the boys a wink and a nod.

Then I realized that he could bale tomorrow and start working for a small contractor or himself without skipping a beat.

His employer would be SOL.

I love being skilled trades.
