I know he was legally allowed to have a gun that evening but is there still controversy surrounding it’s purchase and sale?
What do you think?
Yes.
NO. It was legal. The gun issue is no longer part of this trial. So drop it.
If it wasn’t we’d have heard about the ‘illegal gun’ 24/7/365.......................
Anything about crossing state lines with gun?
Yes.
Irrelevant issue. Kyle shot 3 really bad guys.
The gun was always in Wisconsin.
While Kyle may be off the hook, I did hear the prosecutor tell the judge he was charging/taking to trial Kyles friend, the one who purchased the gun, with something (straw purchase?) this coming January.
Purchased legally and Kyle had it legally on his person that night.
It did NOT cross state lines. The gun stayed in Wisconsin. Kyle lived 21 miles away and drove there to Kenosha - where his family and friends lived.
All fake issues designed for disinformation to the public by the MSM.
She’ll be persuaded go only if they can dig up some California law she broke like they did with Agnew. I shouldn’t be too hard it’s California after all. The question is do they have the will too. Also its not a slam dunk they’ll get the replacemen they want. It will have to bre approved by Congress. Remember Nelson Rockefeller !
Kyle is out of the woods on the state gun charges, but his friend Dominick Black, who purchased the rifle, and then provided it to Kyle is facing state charges related to providing the gun to a minor.
There have also been rumors that he could face federal charges for the “straw man” purchase, though I have not seen confirmation of that.
Don’t look for honesty out of these prosecutors.
It was legal and legally purchased.
You actually are allowed to loan someone a gun unless they are a convicted felon.
How is this difficult?
Kyle did not buy the weapon. The person who did, bought it legally.
I dont look for honesty, but I’d take their threats of prosecution seriously. They are on a mission.
The AR15 was purchased by Kyle’s friend according to testimony.
Kyle gave his friend the money for the gun as his friend was older than Kyle to purchase the gun.
Kyle’s friend Dominic was charged with the Straw Purchase because Kyle was only 17 years old at the time.
Dominic and Kyle agreed to keep the gun at Dominic’s house in Wisconsin where it was locked in Dominic’s Father’s gun safe. Until Kyle turned 18 years of age.
The AR15 never left Wisconsin.
But Rittenhouse was not charged with illegally acquiring a gun but with illegally carrying the gun. And as the judge found, the Wisconsin law which was written so that teens could still carry rifles for hunting also meant that Rittenhouse could legally carry the rifle in Kenosha. So that charge was quite properly thrown out.
