Hey I'm trying to find out what commands to use in Linux Mint to find out what the wi-fi and network mac address is? Anyone know? I'm an old WinXP user,,,

This question and most can easily be found with a duckduckgo.com search but replace “Linux Mint” with “Ubuntu” for more results. Linux Mint is based on/built on top of Ubuntu.

You can log into your router.

“iwlist wlan0 scan”

That works on raspbian... shows the access points in the area. “iwconfig” might be helpful.

It worked! Me interpreting, that’s another issue...
It’s a work computer. My home network might have been hacked so I am thinking about hard coding an IP address for the router to accept.

I have Mint - it ifconfig.

In the output, look for the line starting with ‘ether’. The six hex numbers immediately following are your MAC address. The first three are the manufacturer of the network card, the second three are the serial number.
