While Baldwin exemplifies a noxious twit, I have to think this was a problem with technical quality control by some technician.
Immediately blaming others, sooo very typical. He was handling the gun/prop and it's his and his alone responsibility to do the final safety check. Maybe he should stop bashing the NRA and take a gun safety course.
Very much doubt the New Mexico cops will do a thorough investigation. Suspect that Baldwin may have been unsuccessfully hitting on this woman and in his frustrated passion “pretended” to shoot her. New Mexico is a Democratic state and they will not ask tough questions to a liberal icon.
Holy crap. He kills one and wounds another then they hand him another gun? Journalists. Now comes the blame/finger pointing portion of the show. “If some dumb ass prop guy hadn’t given me that DAMN GUN this would never have happened!” “Why would the cinematographer stand in the wrong place?” Why would the director stand behind the cinematographer?” “It wasn’t me!” Any bets on him skating? After all, hasn’t he suffered enough emotional damage from the guilt? He could be the mike byrd of the film industry. Senseless killing? Yawn.
I’m really interested in the details. What is a “prop gun” gun in this case and how is it used?
You ultimately pointed it her you moron, and btw, these things usually involve horseplay, so here’s looking at you.
Oh my gosh, first I’ve read about this
Better yet -
- hot or not, why was the gun pointed at a non-actor who was not in a scene
- it was pointed at an individual and the trigger pulled
- what type gun was it
Every gun is loaded - unless you clear it yourself.
Never point a gun at anything you don’t want dead....
there are ‘rules’ ya know
Unfortunate circumstance that comes from having too much stoopid in one general location.
Weird thing about it. Rust, is about a father/grandfather (can’t remember which)whose 13 year old son accidentally kills a man.
They must have parked their car in his spot or photographed his bad side.
How do you accidentally shoot 2 people?
One in the shoulder and one in the stomach.
Shoot one person then go hmm.. then shoot another?
If it turns out there was an actual live round in that chamber, then someone should be going to jail for a very long time because that had to be intentional. Bug if it was some kind of obstruction, or foreign material...I dunno. Have to know the details, I guess.
Why would Baldwin even point a gun at a non-actor. Gun safety is gun safety. You don’t ever point a gun at anyone. Just like a typical elitist who thinks that rules don’t apply to him.
1. The cinematographer and director were shot, not cast members. It’s clear he’s breaking the first and second rules of gun handling.
2. The prop master should check and hand over the gun only at the beginning of a scene - he had the gun for other purposes.
3. He shot two people, not one.
4. He’s an idiot.
∴ He shot them purposefully
he is already off the hook and innocent of course .
Hey Baldwin. Why did you point it at someone and pull the trigger you worthless son of a.
I am certain it was not intentional and he didn't have some reason for wanting to kill them. All perfectly innocent I am sure.
But you have to wonder.
He is an angry, bitter man who has talked about how people should be killed before.
Just something to consider.
