“...just a big pile of concrete.”

I’ve never been very impressed with the pyramids.

His papers on Moses, Akhenaten, the Merneptah stele — notsa good. Looks like he was influenced by the moonbat Ahmed Osman.

Giza pyramids are granite. So is the Red Pyramid.

Been there. Lived there. Know that.

The cap of the great pyramid is a mix of lime and plenty sand, like a cement plaster.

LOL!

With those two digging into the case, you know they’ll get to the bottom pronto.

Yeah. Pronto.

There are large granite stones used internally for the burial chamber, but in total, about 5.5 MILLION tons of limestone (or geopolymer) was used, along with about 8 THOUSAND tons of granite.

The red pyramid was mostly red limestone, but used to be cased in white Tura limestone, which was stripped to build stuff in Cairo.

But nice try. Consider using a more reputable travel agent next time.

#28 those squares were for checkers that the aliens played while the pyramids were being constructed.

I’m no archaeologist, but I’m pretty sure I could look at a block and tell if it’s been quarried from limestone or poured concrete. The pyramids have been studied forever by the world’s foremost experts, I’d have to think they would have noticed if they were concrete by now.

Just the point I wanted to make. I'm glad you did!

Most likely they needed a large place to mix the concrete.

Yeah, but the Nile used to be super close to the pyramids and the wood could be reused over and over again.

This clod is behind in his news. Archaeologists using LIDAR in drones and other aircraft have discovered ancient canals (long since filled in) extending from the Nile right up onto the Giza plateau.

Mystery solved. They rowed the blocks right up to the construction site.

Not to long ago you could walk right up to them climb a little just not to the top, I’ve all seen kinds of concrete good bad ugly seen it blown apart and withered and I can say with an open mind the outer stones are rock.

I had some friends who even entered the kings chamber, I didn’t because I had just got back from VIETNAM and did not like tunnels of any kind...

Well, if true, they needed to make cement which means they had to kiln limestone and clay. Lot of work. Where did they all the fuel to do the kilning from...I know! The Sahara Forest!

I think that it would actually require more steps and work to create concrete than quarry the rock, not that working with stone is particularly easy.

Their concrete isn’t our concrete, neither was the same as Roman concrete. So, no, they wouldn’t.
