Imagine this: A pesky mosquito sips some of your blood. Hours later, the blood-sucker drops dead, poisoned by the very blood it just slurped down.
That may sound too good to be true, but it's a tantalizing possibility, according to research published this week in the journal The Lancet Infectious Diseases. The study points to a potential new tool to fight malaria: the medication ivermectin. Studies conducted in the 2000s, including one in 2010, show that malaria-carrying mosquitoes die after feeding on individuals who have ingested the drug.
.........
In their study, the researchers demonstrate that three high doses of ivermectin make human blood deadly to mosquitoes for at least 28 days after the start of treatment. This high dose of ivermectin was also well-tolerated with few side effects.
HYPOCRITES!

Is there are difference between the paste and the pill forms?
“but now 3 years later, it is illegal to use Ivermectin to save a human’s life.”
No it isn’t. Who told you that bunk?

No difference. Just don’t use paste that has other medicines in it. (A few of them have stuff for flys or something as well).
It’s not illegal.
But Ivermectin is not a covered countermeasure.
Don’t understand the reasoning behind this.
Even if all people took ivermectin for weeks, mosquitos would still survive from biting animals
Mosquitoes’ Lives Matter!
Have you tried to get your script filled lately?
I have spent the last 3 weeks trying to get mine filled.
I initially got a script from Push last winter. I took it when I got the sniffles (not Covid). This winter I tried to get another script. Push refused to prescribe it. I found another doctor who prescribed me 3 refills. I went down to the pharmacy and picked up the first batch.
I had my wife call the same Dr. to get a script for her. The Dr. had gone out of business and wouldn’t return any calls. I am certain he was forced out.
I went back to my small, locally owned pharmacy to get my second refill so my wife would have some on hand and was told they no longer could get it “since they changed the law”.
I called around to ALL of the pharmacies in town and nobody would fill it.
I ended up ordering some from India that won’t arrive until the middle of October.
It has effectively been made illegal.
is this the bad one?
Gasterophilus intestinalis, also known as horse bot fly, is a species of insect of the family Oestridae, and is found worldwide. The adults, which have a bumblebee-like appearance, are prominently active in the summer. G. intestinalis is primarily a parasite of horses, mules and donkeys.
kills hook hookworms, lice, ticks and mites... just to name a few.
I now identify as a horse.
It is not approved for off label use for China’s germ warfare, Wuhan flu, thanks 100% to commiecrats.
Thanks to the commiecrats blocking the recommendation and pleas from Dr. Kory in two US Senate hearings where he presented 30 studies {albeit NOT double blind} which showed stellar results in both prevention and EARLY treatment with Ivermectin.
All Dr. Kory asked of the Senators was to have the NIH, CDC, FDA look at the studies and come to a conclusion that the initial results were so impressive as to warrant true double blind studies.
The commiecrats blocked it because this is a crisis which they will never let go to waste and never let end.
So in the course of a few minutes you've gone from
"illegal" to "effectively illegal". Hell, man.. wait
an hour and it'll be free, using your logic. Or was it just hyperbole?
The narrative ALWAYS drives their “reality.”
Yeah the lying commiecrats have vilified Ivermectin by labeling it a horse dewormer.
I guess using their lying logic, penicillin would be Puss filled Penis Syphilis remover.
