At long last, there might be a COVID treatment leftists won't denigrate: But how much will it cost?

One of the most peculiar things about COVID in America is that the powers that be — in politics, media, and medicine — have been hostile to the possibility of treating COVID.  Since the virus emerged, people have been told there's nothing that can be done to treat COVID until they're near death, at which point...there's nothing that can be done to treat COVID.  These same actors have hysterically opposed both the hydroxychloroquine cocktail and ivermectin.  However, that resistance to early intervention may change now that Pfizer has a COVID-19 therapeutic antiviral protease inhibitor called PF-07321332.

PF-07321332 entered its phase two and three trials in August 2021.  The treatment will be administered orally, although another version, called PF-07304814, is administered through an IV drip.  According to Pfizer:

We believe that, if successful and authorized or approved, these investigational therapies could provide end-to-end treatment options for COVID-19 patients, including those exposed to the virus, those with diagnosed infections treated in the outpatient setting, and those hospitalized with moderate to severe infection.

Antiviral medications operate by interfering with a virus's ability to replicate in the body.  If the medication is given early enough in the illness's progress, the infection will be weak.  Protease inhibitors and other antivirals have been around for a long time for treating various illnesses, but they've only had off-label use in treating COVID cases.  Pfizer's version, however, would be specific to SARS-CoV-2 treatment.

Early in the pandemic, existing antivirals, especially protease inhibitors, intrigued scientists.  That's because they'd noticed that HIV patients already taking protease inhibitors for AIDS disease, if they caught COVID, mostly had surprisingly mild cases and unexpected survival rates.  Also, in 2003, an earlier coronavirus — SARS-CoV-1 — responded well to protease inhibitors.  Pfizer explained,

Too many people still think this is all about fighting Covid.

What this screenshot demonstrates is that Pfizer’s new twice-daily pill for Covid utilizes an unknown protease inhibitor, while including a snip from this study showing that Ivermectin also acts as a protease inhibitor.

Just another data point in favor of Ivermectin.

This is the Pfizer version of ivermectin so they can charge grand sums of money for it.

I DO NOT trust Ffizer. Ivermectin has 40-50 years of use in human beings .... if the Pfizer “trials” are anything like the excuse for trials they used for their “vaccine”, no thank you.

“Since the virus emerged, people have been told there’s nothing that can be done to treat COVID until they’re near death, at which point...there’s nothing that can be done to treat COVID. “

That pretty much sums up doctors who rely on “FDA approved” treatments only.

We believe that, if successful and authorized or approved, these investigational therapies could provide massive and never ending profits.

The horse paste is fine. Just ingest amounts according to your weight.

I’m reminded of the banning of HFC’s back in the day which put albuterol inhalers back under patent with the new “ozone friendly” propellant. Quite the price jump with the medication itself unchanged.

From the post:
COVID-19 is currently the biggest threat to mankind.

Are they kidding?! Right now, I MIGHT say that the biggest immediate short-threat to western civilization would be the insane reaction to the CCP virus, but that's it.

Ivermectin (IVM) is an FDA-approved drug that has shown antiviral activity against a wide variety of viruses in recent years.

This study explores the energetic and structural properties through which IVM inhibits importin-α and five targets associated with COVID-19 by using docking and MD simulations combined with the molecular mechanics generalized Born surface area (MMGBSA) approach.

IVM was submitted to phase III clinical trial in Thailand from 2014 to 2017 to treat dengue viral infection. As a result of this study, it was reported as safe when given as a single daily dose, which resulted in a significant decrease of serum levels of viral carriage (Yamasmith, 2018).

Previous experimental studies demonstrated that IVM could inhibit SARS-CoV-2 replication in vitro; however, IVM’s molecular mechanism inhibits binding to importin-α, and other SARS-CoV-2 receptors have not yet been elucidated.

They are knowingly preventing a treatment that works. The Gov, pharma, and doctors are not your friends.

Anything that pivots off the jabs destroys the passport, which they were too far behind on in tech debt to accomplish (and it's interesting that this was overlooked in the Great Reset planning).

O irony, the (pure capitalist) desire to get an oral Rx destroyed the puppet-state planners.

It will come down to protease inhibitors vs Merck's RNA chain-terminator.
